Casa de las Olas is ready to be your group’s perfect getaway for surfing, adventure, relaxing, and fun. Only 100 yards to the beach! Casa de las Olas translates to "House of the Waves" and it is a true destination, on the Langosta end of Tamarindo. A short walk to the soft sands and sparkling waters of the safest beach in Tamarindo. At Casa de las Olas you can enjoy the outdoors and Costa Rica’s amazing creatures. We have daily visits from iguanas, howler monkeys, and tropical birds. The space Casa de las Olas was built with the Costa Rican lifestyle at the forefront of its design. Simple, relaxing, and plenty of outdoor space for enjoying each day (Pura Vida). Your tropical vacation will include our new backyard paradise. Guests will have access to a pool, lounging spaces, outdoor kitchenette, more gardens, and two private outdoor tropical showers. Guests can enjoy the ocean with one of the soft-top surfboards or boogie boards, chill on the beach in a beach chair, or jump on one of the beach cruiser bikes to ride into the heart of Tamarindo and visit local shops, restaurants and bars – you can even ride the bikes on the beach at low tide. All included for use of our guests. When you desire the indoors, you’ll enjoy an open living area with all the modern conveniences. The house and casita have air conditioning, a large screen smart capable TV, and Wi-Fi to connect you to the outside world. A fully equipped kitchen(s) to cook meals/snacks, make coffee, or test your bartending skills. Plus an outdoor BBQ (gas) to grill up your fresh catch of the day. Guest access Guests will have private access to the house, casita, outdoor tropical showers, beach toys, and two beach cruiser bikes. Additionally guests have full access to the backyard that includes a pool, garden, BBQ, and beautiful lounging spaces. It's designed to comfortably and privately accommodate our guests for a true tropical getaway. Other things to note This year (2024-2025) is the first time the entire property (main house and casita together) has ever been available for rent to groups because the owners usually spend a great deal of time on property. However, this year we are changing it up and going on some of our own extended international adventures. So bring your friends and family and enjoy all of the beauty and privacy of Casa de las Olas.
