Relaxing evenings in front of the wood stove ♥ The space Entry to Haven House is through a glass walled sunroom overlooking a seasonal creek, the area open and flowing into the kitchen/dining room with cooking island and puzzle table. The open living room with wood stove, flat screen TV with smart DVD player leading to a large master with king bed and smaller bedroom with bunk beds, plus a full bathroom with full size tub and shower. * The laundry room is shared between haven house and haven guesthouse: and is accessible with keypad code. The use of washer/dryer included. To access the laundry, please read the laundry room section of the manual first; once you have read it let us know and we’ll provide you with the code. Regarding Covid-19 Check state and county ordinances for current mask mandates; masks may be required indoors. If visiting from out of state be aware you will need to comply with this emergency health ordinance. Other things to note Snow season in Colorado is Oct-May. Though AWD and high ground are not normally needed to access, good snow tires are a must to drive anywhere in Colorado in the winter. Haven House does share walls with Haven Gueshouse; it is not a detached structure. We have added sound insulation, but expect to be able to hear occasional noise. There are no shared indoor spaces other than the laundry room which has lockable doors on both sides. Outdoors is a shared oasis! There are several outdoor seating areas, hammocks, trampoline, and swings for all to use. The WiFi is 50-100 mbps fiber optic cable. There is generally no cell signal for carriers other than AT&T. We do not have trash service to the home so if you fill a bag please place it in the additional trash bins provided in the sun room; we do not have outdoor trash cans as we live in Bear country. We recycle! All glass, cans, paperboard, cardboard and plastic containers, are rinsed as needed, and go into the blue recycle bin, on the left side of the sink. All food waste and non recycle-able materials go in the trash on the right side of the sink. We pay per bag for our trash at the recycle center and will take a $20 fee out of your security deposit if we have to separate the recycling from the trash after you leave. The guesthouse is supplied through a whole house water filter so the water is absolutely fine to bathe and drink. We are on a septic system and we ask that guest please NOT put anything other than the toilet paper provided into the toilet. This includes “flushable” wet wipes, they are NOT septic safe! We have had a very expensive septic repair in the past due to non easily biodegradable products going into the septic! We have a flip top lidded trash receptacle in the bathroom to place sanitary products, wet wipes etc.
