This 100 yr old Biscuit Box house sits atop an old stone wall, spectacular ocean views, old world charm with all the modern conveniences, renovated inside and out. Off the main road, unlike most places on this peninsula. Trails outside the door, leading to lighthouses, nearby fishing villages, and quiet coves. Whale watch as you hike. 1.5 hr drive from St. John's and 1.5 hr from the Ferry. Will help plan your trip! The space This "Biscuit Box" house has charm, hand built over 100 years ago and tastefully renovated in 2010. The view is spectacular! The house has 2 fair size bedrooms, 1 with queen bed, 1 with double bed, and 1 very small bedroom that just fits a double bed, more ideal for 1 person but can fit 2. Large kitchen with table for 6. All rooms have windows with a spectacular oceanview. A 1.5 hr drive from St . John's, this house location is close enough to the city but far enough out to really feel like you're "Out Around the Bay", as we say! Guest access Guest access to the whole house, owner not present. Wifi/high speed internet, BBQ, Ironing board, iron, sound dock, fridge, oven, microwave, TV with cable, DVD library, washer/dryer, book library, quality mattresses and linens. Bring your own cell phone - make sure you have cell coverage for area. Other things to note NOTE: Also FYI, this house is on municipal town water and sewer system, therefore you can be assured the water is very safe to drink, it is delicious actually, best cup of tea EVER! 4 day minimum booking.
