Our casita has 2 bedrooms, with comfortable queen-size beds and folding cots for toddlers. The alcove between the bedrooms has a comfortable bunk bed. Bedrooms are air-conditioned plus ceiling fans for additional cooling. Bedrooms have clothing/suitcase stands. For your comfort, we have added a "Smart" television with Netflix in the living room. The comfortable indoor-outdoor kitchen/Dining area is enclosed by screens, 6 burner stove/oven. A sink with hot/cold water and plenty of counter space. The space You have a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, cooking utensils, flatware, and dishes. Enjoy your music with the Sony Cd/iPod player. The casita has internet and wifi which is available outside. The hot water to the casita is provided by a Solar Hot Water System that is gravity fed to the two kitchens and shower. We have two large water storage tanks which are filled by city water. There is an external pump to refill the roof tank when the local city water pressure is low. The switch for this is near the kitchen door, Carolina will show you this item. The back garden is private and secure so you can enjoy your privacy. We have banana trees, Lime, Orange, and papaya please help yourself should the fruit be in season. Please keep all trash and kitchen waste secured in the garbage container to avoid pests. When using the toilet it is necessary to place all toilet paper and sanitary napkins in the garbage can near the toilet. The sewage system is not designed to handle these items. You will find this in most of Mexico. We have tried to make the casita as comfortable as possible mi casa yu casa please respect that. Other things to note Should you wish to make your stay more comfortable and not worry about preparing meals we can arrange to have your meals prepared by your own cook. They will prepare your meals in the outdoor kitchen. Whether it be your breakfast, lunch or just your dinner, you decide what you would like. Contact us in advance by email so that we can provide you with the cost and make these arrangements prior to your arrival with our property manager. There is free street parking in front of the Casita which is located in a multi-cultural neighbourhood your neighbours may be American, Canadian, or Mexican. The area has local shops and restaurants. To get to the beach you have a pleasant 15-minute walk to the ocean or if you prefer to use the local taxi for less than $5.00 USD to the center of "Old Mahahual", the area that you are in is called Nuevo Mahahual or New Mahahual. Your "small" family pet is welcome with prior approval. There is a $15.00 dollar USD fee for small pets.
