This requirement helps support the local community by ensuring that long-term housing remains available for people who live and work in Tofino. Guests have full and private access to the entire vacation rental they have booked. The only shared area is the driveway/parking area. The caretaker has their own separate living space, so guests can still enjoy the privacy and comfort of the vacation rental throughout their stay. Bedrooms: Ocean's Edge comfortably accommodates 6 guests across 3 bedrooms: Primary Bedroom: King bed with Smart TV and peekaboo ocean views from a small balcony. The spacious ensuite bathroom offers a relaxing retreat with a large soaker tub, steam shower, double sinks, and a private toilet area. Second Bedroom: King bed with Smart TV and a small patio. Third Bedroom: King bed with Smart TV Bathrooms: This home has two bathrooms. The primary ensuite, located off the master bedroom that offers a relaxing retreat with a large soaker tub, steam shower, double sinks, and a private toilet area. The second bathroom is located down the hall, close to the second and third bedrooms, and includes both a walk-in shower and a bathtub/shower combination, making it ideal for families or larger groups. Laundry room: The home also features a dedicated laundry room with a washer and dryer available for guest use, making it especially convenient for longer stays or after a day of exploring the coast. Guest access For your convenience, the home offers self-check-in, allowing you to arrive with ease. Your unique access code will be provided prior to check-in. In accordance with Tofino bylaws, a long-term tenant resides in a separate space above the vacation rental with their own private entrance. Guests have exclusive access to the entire vacation rental and all of its amenities, including the decks, hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower, and beach access. No amenities are shared; only the driveway and parking area are shared with the tenant. Other things to note IMPORTANT Things to Know/Host Rules (This avoids complaints) • No parties or events (no weddings, ceremonies or large dinner gatherings) • Amenities listed are those provided with the property. • Only 3 parking spots provided • If you require specific items, please ask before booking and we will do our best to assist. • Renter's Agreement: All guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation. • Age Requirement: The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 27 years of age. • Maximum Occupancy: In accordance with Tofino Bylaws, a maximum of six (6) guests is permitted, including infants and children. If the number of guests exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to terminate the reservation and require guests to leave the property without refund. • Minimum Stay Requirements: During peak summer season (July-August), a minimum stay of 5 nights is required (unless it fills a gap) • All summer bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps between reservations. During the summer season, reservation changes that create a one-night gap between bookings cannot be accommodated, as we do not accept one-night stays. • A minimum stay of three (3) nights is also required for all Canadian Statutory Holiday periods. • DOG Policy: Up to 2 dogs allowed only. All dogs must be approved AND PAID FOR prior to arrival. Guests who arrive with unregistered dogs or exceed the approved pet limit may be required to check out immediately. Dogs may not be left unattended in the property unless they are securely crated. Sorry no cats allowed. • Quiet Hours: Strict quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbours and the local community. • Airbnb Beachfront Cancellation: We offer a 30-day cancellation policy. Guests who cancel at least 30 days prior to their arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable. • Accidental Damage Protection: A $10/day fee is already included in your reservation and covers accidental damages up to $1,000. This does not cover damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, negligence, misuse, or violations of house rules.
