Please note that all vacation rentals in Tofino have caretakers on site due to the Tofino by-law. There is parking for 3 cars and the parking area is shared with the tenants. The tenants have separate access on the opposite side of the house offering privacy when inside the vacation rental. Other things to note Host Rules Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation. Age min: must be 30 years or older to book Guest Limit: As per Tofino Bylaws, a maximum of 6 guests (including babies and children) are allowed. If a reservation exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to ask the guests to leave. During the peak summer season (July-August), a minimum 1-week stay and must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you receive a "host unavailable" message despite seeing availability, please contact us. Our booking system has specific rules and may require manual adjustments. 3-night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays. Pet Policy: 2 dog max. Must be registered with the reservation. Sorry no cats allowed! Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws. Quiet Hours: Strict 10 PM – 8 AM policy. Please respect our neighbors and the local community. Any noise complaints may be subject to additional fee's. Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30-day cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 days required notice you will receive a full refund If you cancel without the required day's notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation. Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay. Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behavior. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.
