Welcome to Everett Cottage, a darling 1922 farmhouse style home located in the Historic Steunenberg District in downtown Caldwell, just 2 blocks from College of Idaho and .5 miles from West Valley Medical Center. Close freeway access in just 5 mins. Walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, Destination Downtown Caldwell, ice cream/frozen yogurt shops, restaurants as well as sporting events at College of Idaho. Local vineyards just a short drive away The space Fall in love with our 1922 home that boosts character throughout. Recently remodeled and updated. Great location within walking distance to grocery stores and coffee shops and located a quaint safe neighborhood. Our house comfortably accommodates 8 guests with 4 private bedrooms...two bedrooms on the main floor and two bedrooms upstairs with one full bathroom on the main floor and a half bath upstairs. One of the main floor bedrooms is furnished with two twin beds while the other three are furnished with queen size beds. High speed internet included. The kitchen is nicely stocked including a gas range, microwave and full sized refrigerator with a filtered water dispenser located inside on upper left side. A large private driveway with a covered two car carport is available for your use with additional ample on street parking. There is a shady private fenced patio area off of the carport. Although I welcome small children, please take note that my house is not childproofed with covers over the electrical outlets and chemicals are stored under the kitchen sink. Some of my smaller furniture pieces are lightweight and could possibly topple over on a small child. There is a fireplace although at this time we are not allowing any fires until we can have it inspected and serviced by a licensed chimney company. The staircase going to the upper level is steep and could be a hazard for small children or those who are not sure footed. I do have an increased cleaning fee of $200 for stays greater than 30 days due to the increase of time and effort it takes my cleaning crew. Guest access The main level and upstairs is all yours. A private fenced sitting area under the canopy of mature trees can be found off the carport for your private use. There is a basement at the the house that is closed off from the main house with its own private entrance that I utilize for storage of Airbnb supplies and to launder the linens for my Airbnbs. Friday is trash day so you may see someone in the carport area bringing the trash cans to the road. Also we do have a gardener that seasonally comes once a week to tend to the yard.
