My place is good for couples, solo guests, business travelers, and families (with kids). This listing is for a King room/desk/en suite bath. Also listed is a room w/ 2 twin XL beds and a private bath next to the room. My walkable neighborhood has big, beautiful trees and is 4 minutes off of exit 138 on I-75. It's 2 exits North of the GA National Fairgrounds and 20 minutes from Robins Air Force Base and their Air Museum. Downtown Perry (10 min) is small but has several restaurants and shops. You are welcome to relax on the screened in porch and enjoy the birds and quiet. Taking a walk down the tree lined streets is also a very relaxing thing to do, especially after a long day on the road. Feel free to sit in the livingroom and watch Netflix or play a game on the dining room table. If you are a long term guest you may use the kitchen as long as you keep things neat, wash, dry and return your dishes to where you got them. Due to a problem with one guest I now request that you don’t take food to your room. There is a table on the back porch, stools at the island and a dining table. There is also electricity on the island if you have business to do in your laptop. I don’t mind at all. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and socialize a bit if you would like. I have been doing this so long now that I pretty much keep doing what I would normally be doing so you may have to let me know you'd like to chat for a bit. Thanks for understanding! (grinning) Downtown Perry is very quaint. There are a few little shops and an ole time ice cream parlor. If you are a Foodie and lucky enough to find The Perfect Pear open you must eat there. They do catering so their Schedule varies. Swanson House is a restaurant in an older home that serves Southern food like Fried green tomatoes, squash casserole and collard green soup, meatloaf and fried chicken. Rusty’s Grill and Bar is Italian but has great burgers and Blackened Salmon. I send people there a lot and everyone loves it, but I will say that the last time I went the service was not what it should be so you need to let me know what you think. I’m only 4 minutes from the exit on Interstate 75. My neighborhood is quiet and many people walk their dogs and ride bikes. My driveway is single width but if there are 2 guests there is room for both to park if vehicles pull all the way to the fence and close to one side. There is also room to park behind the gate. We just need to figure out who is leaving earliest and make accommodations. Driveway lights are motion activated so they will come on when you get back to the fence. There are up lights on the Crepe Myrtles and pathway lights along the sidewalk on a timer to light the way to the porch. Just open the storm door to see the door code on the front door.
