Enjoy the natural beauty of Nittany Meadow Farm during your stay in Centre County. Located minutes from State College and Penn State, and close to Rothrock State Forest and outdoor activities, this unique one-bedroom cottage was the original milk house at historic Nittany Meadow Farm. The cozy cottage offers a kitchen, 1 bathroom, a queen-size bed and living room. We can provide an air mattress in living room for 2 additional guests. During your stay you can spend some time with the goats! Guests are welcome to use anything in the Milk House. Make yourself at home! Guests are welcome to use the outdoor space, including the beautiful outdoor seating area in front of the barn. Guests are not permitted in the barn (without owners accompanying) or in the fenced pasture. We live in the farmhouse on the property so we are available if needed. We’re happy to introduce you to our resident goats during your stay, just mention it at check in. During your stay we can be reached by phone or text. Our property borders Mountain View Golf Course, so if you like to golf, you’re very close! We’re also only a half mile from Tussey Mountain resort, where you can ski or tube in the winter and enjoy batting cages, go karts and events like Wing Fest in the summertime. If you’re looking for wineries, the closest is 2 miles away, with plenty more within a ~10 mile radius. If nature is your thing, Bear Meadows natural area in Rothrock State Forest is just across the road, where you can hike or bike for miles. You will need a car to get around. There is one parking spot in the carport that is attached to the cottage. Additional parking is available across from the cottage in the gravel spots. If you’re looking for a unique place to stay that feels away from it all, yet only minutes to downtown State College, this is the place for you! Please note that for the safety of our livestock, no pets are permitted on the farm property or in the cottage at any time.
