Easy access to great mountain biking, paved and gravel biking trails, 4 wheeler trails, off road vehicle routes, hiking, golfing, kayaking - it's all here, waiting for you to enjoy. The space The entire house is yours to enjoy. If you wish to prepare your own meals, your kitchen is well stocked. Open concept kitchen and living room area. Well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. Washer and dryer are conveniently located in the house and are complimentary. Just across the street, you’ll access one of the most spectacular biking trails in the Western United States, The Trail of the Coeur D’Alenes.This 73 mile paved trail take you on a scenic ride through our mountains and valleys. If you’re a regular or recumbent bike rider, access couldn’t be easier! The crown jewel of the Rails to Trails bike Routes, the Route of the Hiawatha, is only 29 miles East at exit 5 on the Montana side. It is considered one of the most scenic routes in our country yet is only 15 miles long, mostly downhill, and you will pass through 10 train tunnels and 7 sky high trestles. Stop first at Lookout Pass, exit 0 off I-90. Everything you need can be found Lookout Pass Trail office including bike rentals, shuttle tickets, trail tickets, maps, etc. you can bike or hike along the crest of our beautiful Bitterroot Mountains. It’s an adventure awaiting you! For the downhill mountain bikers, Silver Mountain Bike Park is a short 1/4 mile ride or walk where you and your bike will travel on North America’s longest gondola. This great bike park has been name Top Five winner (6 times!) in the MTBparks Riders Choice of the Northwest Region. Another great aspect of this home is its location! Ride the Trail of Coeur d’Alenes and you can stop by for lunch or beverages as it is in sight and just steps away from the trail! Mountain bikers enjoying the full 3400’ vertical ride off Silver Mt. Pass right by the house as they ride through Kellogg and head back to the gondola for another thrill. Easy to stop, grab a bite, rehydrate and get back up the mountain! Golfing at Galena Ridge Golf Course is a short 2.5 mile, 10 minute drive. This course has been described as a challenging course that is in great shape with great views; each of the tee boxes plays like a different course. Every golfer should enjoy this course. Keep your recreational equipment in your lockable, safe and secure storage building steps away behind the house. Ample room for safely storing your bikes, incumbent bikes, golf clubs and hopefully, most of the other recreational gear you may have. Guest access Parking - ample parking for your vehicles in the private driveway, in front of the house and across the street public parking is available. Storage - located behind the house and is lockable and safe storage for all your gear. Other things to note All surfaces are disinfected each time we clean with special attention to all the touch surfaces; counter top, light switches, doorknobs, remotes, etc. Summer and our warm weather will bring the occasional appearance of one of us to do care and maintenance of the flowers and lawn.
