Enjoy a walkable neighborhood with diverse options: from La Negrita and Mercado Santiago to Santa Lucia park, Mercado 60, Zocalo, and Paseo Montejo. The space The name “Zunum” derives from the Mayan “x ts’unu’um,” meaning “Colibri” or “Hummingbird,” a regular morning guest in our garden. We hope you will enjoy your stay at Casa Zunum as much as the Hummingbird does. Casa Zunum blends old colonial charm with modern amenities in a perfect location. For privacy, there are no cameras inside the living spaces or in the garden/ pool area. Guest access Guests have full access to entire property except roof. Other things to note Yucatán is one of the states with the highest electricity costs in Mexico. Excessive electricity use (more than 30 kWh per day) is billed separately. We take a photo of the meter at check-in and check-out; the difference in kWh is multiplied by the rate of 3.5 MXN per kWh. The amount is paid in cash at check-out. Thank you for your understanding! Parking Enjoy two parking spaces in front of the house (open spaces). There are also secure parking options on the street. Additional services We’re happy to quote extra services (daily cleaning, chauffeur, car rental, massages, private chef, nanny, yoga classes, etc.).
