Private 100 acres - Entire Ranch & Lake View

Lazy-V Ranch is located next to the town of Baldwin City, a few miles outside of Lawrence, KS. The ranch sits next to a 65-acre lake and 100 acres of private ground. Lazy-V Ranch plays host to family vacations, weekend getaways and hunting trips. Our newly renovated cabin sits on top of the highest point in the area which gives spectacular views of Kansas sunsets and starry nights! The space Lazy-V Ranch is located next to the sleepy country town of Baldwin City (Baker University), a few miles outside of Lawrence, KS which is home to the University of Kansas Jayhawks. The ranch sits next to a 65-acre lake, 90 acres of private open prairie and 10 acres of timber. Lazy-V Ranch hosts family vacations, weekend getaways and hunters. Our cabin sits on top of the highest point in the area which gives spectacular views of Kansas sunrises and sunsets. The cabin offers a fully operational kitchen including dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and kitchenware. On the main level, we have 3 bedrooms which includes 2 rooms with twin beds, and the Master bedroom that has a queen size bed and its own bathroom. So, there are 5 beds total on the main level. There is a second bathroom with two sinks, a bathtub and shower also on the main level. In the basement, we have 6 beds total. 4 twins and a bunk bed. The basement also has a sink, toilet, washer and dryer. The basement is unfinished and has mostly been used for storage. (see pictures) Our backyard looks out over the 65 acre lake. We have a grill and firepit for your use. Please bring your own charcoal and lawn chairs. We do provide grilling utensils. No pets indoors. Keep pets in kennels outside or in your vehicle. Please remember, this is a farm house in the country. We do our very best to keep bugs and insects from coming into the house. Bugs tend to migrate to the basement depending on the weather. We have an exterminator come out every month to reset bug traps. Please take and remove your trash upon checkout. No fishing or boating is allowed on the lake. Please wash and store dishes upon departure. **For parties over 6, it is an additional $40 per person per night. Large groups put significant wear and tear on the house. Please do not put a lower number of people in your party into the Airbnb system in order to avoid paying the additional costs. There is an additional cleaning fee. The cleaning fee is $200. I wish it wasn't this high but due to increasing labor costs and labor shortage, this fee continues to increase. Parties or events not allowed. We have cameras on the property. Do not invite additional guests to the house unless they are part of the reservation. You will be notified and charged by Airbnb if you invite additional guests to the house that were not part of the reservation. Guest access Entire House. Private access to our 100 acres of land. Lake views. Other things to note No dogs in the bedrooms. Please keep them in kennels in the garage or outside. No fishing or boating allowed. No parties or events allowed.
