Stunning House. Perfect Getaway.

Eloise House is a truly storybook home with deeply comfortable and welcoming interiors and lush flower filled exteriors. I love making wonderful spaces for others to enjoy. Eloise House was owned for the last 30+ years by Hilary Knight, the famed illustrator of the beloved children's books Eloise at the Plaza. Inside you will find comfortable luxury, comfortable beds and many high quality touches not usually found in a typical rental. Come in the summer for it's lush beauty and perfect location or off season for peace and quiet and the roaring fireplace and warm and cozy beds. The property is magical. The yard is roomy and has various areas to fall in love with. Inside, the house feel antique and fresh at the same time. Pine and stone floors, pretty bathrooms and the bedrooms are cosy and lovely with good linens, nice pillows and soft blankets. Sunshine fills the space with beautiful Long Island light. The house is well stocked with all the things you may need...lots of towels for bath, pool and beach, a fully appointed kitchen, gas grill, amazing yard, games, fire pit, books, magazines and pool toys. Eloise House is more than just a rental, it is a home. You will feel like you have stepped into a special place made beautiful for you as if you are a good friend coming to stay except you hold the keys. The pool is like a lagoon with optional heat. (OPENS MID TO LATE MAY- SEPT) Mr. Knight designed it with his fantastic whimsy. I love my location as it is so easy to get every where. You are less than ten minutes from either Main Beach or Beach Lane in Wainscott and easy access to Wainscott, Sag Harbor (4 miles) and just minutes into East Hampton. There is a farm stand across the street and another right on Long Lane. If you are looking for a winter stay the fireplace (firewood included) is ready to keep you warm and cozy in the living room. Pets are allowed with prior approval. Please ask first. There is a pet fee of $20.00 per night for shorter stays. Longer stays ( 8 days+)have a one time fee of $250. Guest access The main house is available to guests as well as the pool and yard. Other things to note I will not be on site from Memorial Day-Labor Day.
