A stone’s throw from the Hudson valley wine trail and state parks, this modern A-frame sits on a 5 acre former horse farm, providing privacy without isolation. Only 2 hrs from NYC, it’s perfect for weekend trips or longer getaways. Start the day with coffee on the wraparound deck, work remotely with pastoral views, then head out hiking or enjoy the game room. Evenings can be spent roasting marshmallows under the stars and unwinding in the clawfoot tub. As of Sept '25 - now with upgraded wifi! The space Country life meets modern comfort on this picturesque farm that is centrally located for day trips to the Hudson Valley and Catskills, yet private and spacious enough that (if you're like us) you'll never have to leave. The open, sun-filled living room amplifies each season through its big south-facing windows — a pastoral view of fall foliage glowing in October, snow drifting down in winter, or lush green views in summer. Outside you can enjoy lawn games, a gas grill, fire pit, and plenty of space to run around. The giant south-facing wraparound deck is perfect from your morning coffee, sunset yoga, and stargazing. Inside, a spacious yet cozy living room features a 60” Smart TV (with Netflix and Hulu included) + vibey electric heater to provide extra warmth and entertainment to gather around by night. The basement also includes a private bedroom with its own bathroom/shower. The loft suite provides a sense of privacy and luxury with a queen bed, beautiful clawfoot bathtub, private terrace, and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Plenty of work desks and spaces and newly improved fast internet to accommodate remote workers! We've also got plenty of books, games, and toys to ensure guests of all ages are all having a good time. FULLY STOCKED with clean linens/towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials, coffee, firewood, and laundry room. Just bring food, drinks, and friends! That said, it's perfectly safe and there is a reverse osmosis water filter for drinking. Also, be sure to check the weather and plan accordingly. It doesn't happen often but being on a private road can mean getting snowed in for the day waiting for the plow/shovelers to come, the chance of losing power, etc.
