Welcome to Alexandria, VA! This private apartment has central air/heat and the modern space for you to enjoy. 1 bedrooms, 1 bath and a convertible sofa bed. Completely outfitted with everything you need to order in, or make dinner for yourselves. We provide all the linens, and the bed will be made prior to your arrival with freshly laundered sheets. Guest Space is on the bottom floor of our home (we live on the top floor) and has its own private entrance in front of our house. Your space is totally a separate and private living space. The ceilings are not insulated, so you will hear us walking around upstairs. If you are a light sleeper, this will not work for you. The kitchen is fully equipped and has eat-in bar and dining table for two. You’ll have everything you need to cook a meal, or just make coffee + toast and use the microwave for simple reheating. High speed Wi-Fi access. You can watch unlimited shows and movies on our HBO, Netflix and Amazon Prime, or sign in to any of your accounts to watch what you want. A bath towels, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are provided for our guests. Washer & Dryer in the apartment. You will have access to the Guest Space through your own private entrance in front of the house. Keyless entry at the front entrance with your personal 4 digit code to use on the door. Indre and Roland, your hosts, live upstairs. We are available to answer questions or assist in every way possible in order for guests to feel comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. We do have access to the unit from our house, but we will not intrude as the apartment is yours to enjoy! The apartment is in a quiet older neighborhood that is within walking distance of a few restaurants, a coffee shop, and a grocery store. It’s only a 10-minute drive to the wonderful shops and restaurants of Old Town Alexandria. Our home is 3 miles from the Huntington Metro. Take a Lyft or Uber ride to the Metro; they prompt in the area. The easiest way to get around and fully enjoy the DC metro area is by having your own vehicle. There is plenty of free street parking in front of the house. We do live upstairs above the apartment, and since it is an older house, you will hear the footsteps and the wood floor squeaking.
