Our little cabin with hot tub is perfect for couples or solo when visiting Hocking Hills for a lovely and relaxing getaway. Our Cabin is perfect for anyone looking for some peace and quiet. We’ve thought of everything to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern appliances and amenities. You will have an awesome experience when you visit Hocking Hills, Wayne National Forest, and all other local attractions. Enjoy the beautiful area at our Cabin. The space Guests will follow forest covered, hilly back roads until they come to our quaint 2 person Fox Den Cabin. Upon arrival to the Fox Den Cabin, guests will be welcomed by a charming front porch with an outdoor dining set, two rocking chairs, and a “fox” wood carving. Guests will walk into the Fox Den Cabin to a one-room cabin that comes complete with everything our guests will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. As guests enter the cabin, there is a cozy Queen-sized bed to the right and a fully equipped, but small kitchen and dining area to the left. The small living space allows our guests to cuddle on the couch while watching movies. Walk out the back door to an inviting outdoor space where guests can watch a beautiful sunset over the rolling hills of Southeast, Ohio. Walk up the cement pad staircase to a newly renovated gravel firepit with Adirondack chairs where our guests can stargaze, cuddle, and share memories around the warm campfire. End your day, relaxing in our small 2 person Jacuzzi after a long day of exploring the beautiful Hocking Hills State Parks. The Fox Den Cabin is centrally located to all the outdoor activities in Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest. Our guests are a short 20 – 30 drive to the Hocking Hills State Parks including Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Conkle’s Hollow, Cantwell Cliffs, and Rockbridge State Nature Preserve. Guests are located 15 – 20 minutes away from Lake Hope Lodge, Hope Furnace, the Moonville Tunnel, Stroud’s Run State Park, and Ohio University. Travel 5 minutes into the quaint town of Nelsonville to check out Adventure Pro Outdoors, the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, Rocky Boots, Stuart’s Opera House and so much more! Guest access When guests rent our Fox Den Cabin, they have access to the entire cabin and property. We have another cabin that sits on top of the hill where the Fox Den is located. The Fox Den Cabin offers plenty of privacy to our guests. Other things to note Our rates are based on a minimum occupancy of 2 guests. Children 5 and younger stay for free. 2 Night minimum for Weekend stays – Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Holiday rates apply for Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The taxes associated with the rental are 13.25%. We have both 7.25% sales tax and 6% lodging tax. We allow up to 2 dogs at our cabins. However, we require a non-refundable $50 pet fee/pet.
