The Last Resort is the perfect escape! This two bedroom, two bath oceanfront unit with a private screened in porch and balcony is located at Island Beach & Racquet Club. This property boasts many great amenities including 3 swimming pools, tennis courts, a gym, and a private beach access. A Dollar General and restaurants are all within walking distance of the condo in case you forgot something or just want to grab dinner and enjoy the views one evening after a day of fun in the sun! The private balcony and screened-in porch are the perfect places to start and end your day with your favorite beverage. The bedrooms, kitchen, and living areas have bamboo hardwood flooring. The living room was updated in 2020, and the rest of the condo was redecorated in 2018. The sleeper sofa is smaller than a traditional sofa so we have a twin air mattress and linens located in one of the bedroom closets to more comfortably accommodate 6 guests. The Last Resort has a sister unit a few doors down, Yacht Club. This is ideal for families wanting to vacation together while enjoying their own space. We own another property on the island and visit regularly. We also have a local maintenance and housekeeping service available to help when we are not there. Island Beach & Racquet Club is a family friendly community. The Last Resort is within walking distance to Dollar General, several restaurants, and a convenience store. You can also take an evening stroll and grab ice cream for the kids at Dairy Queen. The best shopping and restaurants in Atlantic Beach are just a short drive away. There are lots of amazing restaurants and shopping in the area from Swansboro to Beaufort. The Crystal Coast has so much to offer! Spend the day exploring Fort Macon and its wonderful beaches at the end of the island. Book a boat tour in Morehead City or Beaufort and enjoy wonderful barrier islands such as Shackleford Banks, Cape Lookout, Bird Shoals, and Sand Dollar Island. Drive out to Swansboro, rent a kayak and explore Shark Tooth Island, or take the ferry to Hammocks Beach State Park. The condo is located on the second floor and and an elevator is available. There are also grills available throughout the community.
