Ice maker. WE ALWAYS OFFER EARLY CHECKIN & CHECKOUTS WHEN AVAILABLE. The space The entire cabin and property are yours to enjoy alone. No one is allowed on the cabin grounds or in our woods during your stay. Of course we respect your privacy. We hope you come back and make the “Shaded Log Cabin” your home away from home. The cabin has two ceiling fans on the screened in front porch. Ceiling fans are also on the back porch. Ceiling fans keep mosquitoes away. The front porch is a great spot to relax and watch the wildlife. Our front yard is a feeding area for Multi generational Deer . We feed them regularly and they come and visit daily. If you want to join us and feeding them, they love corn and apples. Our property is next to a creek where deer and other wildlife live and travel to the lake. Master bedroom with ceiling fan is on 1st floor with 2 windows, a creek view and a view of the front yard. DIRECTV Is above armoire which has the most storage room in the cabin. Up the stairs is the second bedroom in a loft setting. The room has a new window AC/heater unit. The room has a wingback lounge chair. Enjoy our USB sound system in the living room, NEW 2021 electric fireplace that is operated with a remote control. Also the new Smart TV, ceiling fan and sound bar also operate with a remote control. So relax, put your feet up and use the remote controls. Our kitchen has everything you need to cook. The new refrigerator/freezer & ice maker can make up to 4 pounds of ice a day. Our kitchen has wine glasses, beer glasses, desert bowls to compliment our other items. We have a new luxury large grill with a stove top burner to cook a pan full of your favorite food. Cooking outdoors next to the swim spa bar is a unique experience. Our covered back deck is 24x 10 feet. The deck leads you to our 14 foot swim spa., which has a gate separating it from the deck and log cabin. The best way to keep the spa hot is to keep the covers on the spa. Making sure they fit keeps the heat in. By using the hot tub/Swim Spa you agree that you are using it at your own risk. At the bottom of this section we will share the terms & conditions of using the Swim Spa. The water is tested before and after every guest stay to ensure quality. A outdoor shower is available with hot water. Also the Swim Spa has a wood bar that is attached to the spa. It is awesome to enjoy conversation, a meal or drinks and make memorable experiences. Off the deck is a ramp on the right side of the log cabin (not pictured). It provides excellent access for those wanting to avoid steps. Both the Swim Spa and the ramp are next to the creek and the deers regular route to the front yard where we feed them daily. We have a fire pit in the front yard and a fire ring in the back off the deck next to the grill and swimspa. We are happy to share our wood with you. Be sure to check out our color photo arrival guide! It is a great introduction to the Lake and area attractions. Everyone wishing to use the hot tub must sign the hot tub waiver. When using the hot tub, remember there are certain health risk associated with using any hot tub spa. By agreeing to sign this waiver or usage of the hot tub, you agree that you except the risk associated with Using the hot tub and agree to hold harmless the property owner or staff from any and all claims, lawsuits, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury from usage of the hot tub. The rules are designed to increase the safety of usage but you should consult with a doctor prior to using the hot tub to determine Whether usage is safe for you. The water temperature should never be over 104°. Do not drink alcohol or take medical medication without consulting a doctor in advance. Pregnant women should never use a hot tub. Youth under 16 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Pets are NEVER permitted in the Swim Spa/Hot Tub water. Shower before and after hot tub usage to avoid skin irritation. Please Do not wear any oils or lotions in the hot tub. Outdoor shower provided. Always make sure your feet are clean and leaves and debris stay out of the water. Do not sit or stand on the hot tub cover or mounted wood bar along the length of the swim spa. Covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed To support a person or persons as they will break and you will be charge for a replacement. Keep Spa covers on the spa when not in use to keep the spa hot. The spa water conditioner is checked before and after guest arrive and departure. Upon check-in if you notice anything wrong with the spa please contact your cabin hostess immediately. Each person using the hot tub must sign the waiver. Please note you will experience hills in this region of Indiana including the boat ramps and county roads. Please watch your speed as it is enforced by state and county police. Guest access We offer you our State Park Pass which will save your $7 dollars a day. To the right of the cabin, not pictured is a ramp for those of use who don’t want to do the steps. Boat guide and fishing services possibly available upon request Other things to note Dog breeds MUST be approved in advance. NO LONG HAIRED DOGS ALLOWED. APPROVED DOGS ARE $100 flat fee. We respectfully request you pick up and dispose of all dog droppings. NEW DOLLAR GENERAL STORE HAS OPENED ONLY 10 MINUTES AWAY IN ECKERTY. THEY HAVE GROCERIES.
