Your view from the front porch whether in the morning or evening is nothing short of spectacular, as hundreds of acre's sprawl out in front of you with a 5 mile view. This is truly a one of a kind place as well as location......perfect for so many types of gatherings: -Hunting Trips: our 25 acre's of woods are prime white-tail deer hunting grounds. Every single piece of wood used to construct this cabin was wood that the builder took from the property . While sitting at the kitchen table look closely above at the rafters and you'll find the creators name written on beams. In terms of location, you will feel so far-out and secluded, but will be so close to so much...... >Our cabin is the closest place to stay from the sought after Longaberger Golf Course, now known as "The Virtues". So whether you are looking to tee it up or a great place to have dinner you will be only 3 miles away. >Downtown Newark and nearby Granville are only 15 minutes and 25 minutes respectively to the west down US 16...... further to the west you can be on the east side of Columbus in the New Albany area in a short 35 minute drive from our cabin. >Dillon State Park and lake is roughly 9 miles to the south right down 146 and only a 10 minute drive. Zanesville is just a bit further down 146 and 20 minutes to the south. >Coshocton Ohio and historic Roscoe Village is only 25 minutes to the east directly down US St Route 16. In the property's woods you will find some very unique glacier boulders. Our guest find them fun to climb on and take pictures. You will also find plenty of down limbs and firewood that you can use for the firepit, or buy freshly cut wood from our neighbors next door to the west. Beside the cabin is a shaded yard area that is nestled under the canopy of the surrounding woods. This park-like setting is great to block the heat of the day and includes a picnic table and a fire-pit area. The road that the property sits on is great for morning or evening walks and there is a dollar store just 1 mile down the road. We know you'll come and make some great memories. We have a digital door-lock located on the front of the cabin This is a contactless check-in. We do have maintenance personnel just 1/4 mile down the road. you have 50 acres all to yourself with no neighbors. there is a family Dollar store 1 mile down the road, so for convenience items this comes in very handy For those that enjoy nice long walks, you will really enjoy your stay here. the cabin is located on a paved county road... morning or evening walks are filled with peace and quiet and fantastic views. the 25 acres of woods provides additional great landscape for walking.
