Hello! Welcome to the Shakti Spirit Sanctuary. We are a 1.75 acre piece of property on the edge of the entrance to the Ski Valley in Taos, New Mexico region We are looking for good energy people to honor our space, and support our vision of becoming a healing center for future projects. We are a drug and alcohol free zone. The space Our space has a lovely selection of Spiritual and eclectic books that you can check out and read while here. Both the upstairs and downstairs living room areas have cozy fireplaces that keep the ambiance nice during the colder winter months. And the best feature of our home is the natural solar heated rooms with slanted windows on the south side of our house, that on a sunny day can heat up and entire bedroom naturally. This unique feature is available for access upstairs or downstairs. And on a clear night, the views of the stars from the upstairs solar room (accessible from the guest bedroom) is a must see! During your stay Since a lot of my creative work and gardening activities are done from my home, I will be around a good majority of the time. Therefore, depending on the flow of my house work I am very available for good quality conversations community meals, or just some lovely tea time chats if that interests you. However, I do also very much understand the need for space and quiet time. So please do let me know your needs while your are here and I will do my very best to accommodate. Other things to note Just for all guests to know. Our kitchen facilities are fully available to use. But note that we are a primarily vegetarian home, so if you are intending to bring meat to eat while here, just make sure it has already been pre-cooked due to the sensitivity of our space. Other than that, we also have lots of great recommendations for places to eat. And storing any of your perishable items will not be a problem, as we have one full extra refrigerator available just for you, our guests! So please feel free to choose whatever works best for you! As we love to see our guests happy. Also, coffee and tea are always freely available on the house to all our guests. And do note that we also have recycling and composting facilities available in our home. So please throw away your waste responsibly while visiting us. We would highly appreciate it. Thanks!
