A little about Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan...In case you aren't familiar with the Fort Morgan area, Fort Morgan is 15-20 minutes west of the main Gulf Shores beaches, and it situated further down the peninsula. It is quieter, much less crowded, and primarily has rental homes and full-time residents. There are very few "public access" areas, and you will not find large parking lots for beachgoers. What you will find are beautiful beaches, more locals, and a few small restaurants and markets.
