A roomy rear screened porch, also buffered by ample greenery, offers you a bonus, comfortable, private venue in which to dine, socialize, or just hang out. No car? No worries. Both the beach and many shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and walking is the most under-appreciated path to cardio health. The house sleeps seven persons in three bedrooms: a queen size bed in the master bedroom; a queen size bed in the middle bedroom; and a two-bed bunkbed plus one twin bed in the third bedroom. The entire house, front veranda, and rear screened porch, except for one storage closet, and another closet dedicated to the HVAC unit. We will not interfere with your vacation at all, and are just a text or phone call away for any and all questions throughout your stay. Four tennis courts, four pickleball courts, two swimming pools, and a weight/cardio/fitness machine room, all within a short walking distance, are also available for an additional per person fee paid directly to the Bethany West Recreation Association (BWRA). Enjoy kayaking or canoeing? Kayak/Canoe launching (BYOK/C) on Bethany’s canal (that links the southern Indian River Bay to the northern Assawoman Bay) is available just two blocks away near the BWRA Clubhouse, with a reserved kayak rack space and lock, just waiting to park your kayak or canoe during your stay. This gorgeous house is ideally located for trips to and from the beach and town center on the enjoyably nostalgic Bethany Beach Trolley (25 cents per ride), which passes by every 20 minutes, has a GPS tracking app that lets you know precisely where it is and when it is coming, and picks you up in front of the house. Want to explore even closer nearby? Seven restaurant/eateries, including Grotto’s, DiFebo’s, and the Bethany Diner, are just a five minute stroll from our house. Enjoy staying in shape? Our home is only an 18 minute walk, or a 5 minute bike ride, to the ocean and town center. If you choose to drive, free use of one Town of Bethany Beach parking pass (otherwise, public parking could average $15 a day at meters) is included!! All AirBNB Guests who request to book our house will be required to provide their regular e-mail address to Host, who will send them a location-specific rental agreement to be executed and returned to Host. For rentals more than three months before occupancy dates, execution of the rental agreement within two weeks after booking acceptance is a condition of the booking acceptance and the reservation booking will be canceled if a signed and initialled rental agreement is not received by Host within two week after booking. For bookings less than three months and two weeks before occupancy, the same conditions apply except that the rental agreement must be executed and returned within one week of receipt. For bookings less than two weeks before occupancy, the rental agreement must be executed and returned within 24 hours of receipt. Please note that because AirBNB, for properties in Delaware, will not collect the 7% Town of Bethany Beach rental tax as a separate line item, the tax is collected by way of being subsumed within the nightly rental rate. Thus, by way of example, a $359 nightly rate translates into a combined $335 nightly rental rate and approximately $24 rental tax. The cleaning fee is a direct pass-through of what the cleaning company charges the Host, with no Host mark-up. No smoking and no pets of any type or size are allowed.
