A perfectly manicured landscape with a Goldilocks-sized pool. The lawn leads to your very own private dock and brick patio, containing a fire-pit. Swim to your heart's content in the pool or in the lake. Soak in the hot tub. Paddle in our canoe or kayak and try snagging some brown trout. Plenty of room for a large extended family or a group of friends. The space 2 level colonial with over 3,000 square feet of indoor space. Outdoor deck with heated pool (open for the season usually between Arpil and October but please check before booking). Brand new hot tub and raised platform with views of the lake. Highlights: Bedrooms have been freshly gut renovated on this Lakefront Colonial Charmer. New hardwood floors and whole home has been freshly painted, updated and furnished. The eat-in-kitchen is rustic and made for creating large meals with it's two ovens. The views of the lake from the kitchen, master bedroom, family room and deck are one of a kind. Toss a log on the fireplace or in the fire-pit by the lake. Grill up some BBQ on the propane grill outside on the deck while your kids splash around in the pool. Play billiards, ping pong, spike ball or enjoy the movies, Xbox and Wii in the basement rec room. Pickleball courts are in the nearby park. From taking in the views, to hiking, canoeing, shopping at Woodbury Commons, farm visits to Blooming Hill Farms or Bellvale Farms Creamery, Art at Storm King Art Center, visiting West Point (only 19 miles!), Harriman State Park, Bear Mountain, or Sterling National Forest, Mountain Creek, Tuxedo Ridge or Mt. Peter for family skiing, there is no lack of activities for EVERY season. With it's expansive space inside and out, we welcome neighborhood respectful fun. ** Please note that the pool is typically open April 1st through November 1st. Please also note that the pool is heated with an electric heater which can only work when the ambient temperature is consiustently above 55-60 degrees. We cannot heat the pool when the weather does not cooperate. There is no propane heater. There is a skimmer hanging on hooks near the pool to allow our guests to clean the pool during their stay. Additionally, we provide a pool robot which allows for one-button push cleaning. Please just make sure to return it to the pool when you are not using the pool.** -Pets are allowed in this home for a fee. Please add any pets to your reservation. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without our prior approval there will be a fine of $500 per pet. - This home is located in the Hudson Valley, so you may encounter wildlife such as frogs, geese, chipmunks, mice, bugs and insects. - Our neighborhood is a residential area and we love our neighbors. Sound travels far around the lake so please ask your group to take the fun indoors after 11pm. There is a $500 fee if we receive a noise complaint after 11pm. Guest access The whole house is yours to enjoy other than some small storage areas, the garage and the furnace/boiler area. Other things to note Swimming and use of boats is at your own risk. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors are in each bedroom, the kitchen, and the hallways. There are fire extinguishers throughout.
