Cottage w/ Bay View FREE Kayaks, Snorkel & More

The Captain's is a cottage at Key Largo Cottages. We are located on the bay side of Key Largo near some of the best dive/snorkel sites, island excursions, bars, restaurants, & the Everglades. Experience water fun! A stay in one of our cottages comes with unlimited use of our kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing gear, &, of course, the use of one of our 22' sailboats, if you have recent sailing experience on keel boats! You won't find a better deal in the Keys! The space The Captain’s is perfect for watching the sunset and, when you wake up in the morning from a restful sleep, to see the bay in all its glory! The Captain's has a king size bed, which faces the water, a futon bed that sleeps two, and a second bedroom with bunk beds, for which we charge an extra $15 a night. There is a compact refrigerator, 2-burner stove, cooking and dining utensils, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker with filters. Please note: We don’t provide toiletries; however, we do provide beach towels, bath towels, and linens for all of the beds in the cottage. The Captain's has a separate 1/2 bath with two showers, one shower and tub by the kitchen and outdoor shower. The Captain's accommodates 2 adults and 2-4 children. It is NOT a dog-friendly cottage. Guest access Guests share everything outside their reserved cottage. This includes the beach, docks, parking space, tiki hut, and water toys. Other things to note You must be 25 years of age or older to book this cottage. The property was originally hand-built in the 1950’s as a remote fishing camp with the bricks used to build the cottages also hand-made on site before building was commenced. Many upgrades have been completed over the last 20 years and more planned. Our property and amenities are in good working condition, but as normal, unforeseen things may arise from time to time. The Florida Keys is teeming with wildlife, like manatees, dolphins, birds, large/small lizards, and insects as would be expected from a tropical setting. That being said, Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages is not a brand new 5-star resort. Guests can expect a friendly host, a clean air-conditioned cottage in an original Florida Keys resort. We are a great place to relax and we are in a excellent location to enjoy a warm tropical vacation.
