Centrally located in the Gene Autry neighborhood, you are less than a 5 minute drive or 15 minute bike-ride to downtown Palm Springs where you can enjoy awesome shopping, world-class dining, and a vibrant nightlife scene. Enjoy the large back yard complete with a private pool, hot tub, outdoor fireplace, cabana and comfort under the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It's a great place to sit back and relax! Laze in either of 2 master en-suite bedrooms; both with a king bed, black out drapes, direct access to the backyard and pool with their own seating areas, flat-screen TVs, and spacious en-suite baths. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have 2-twins and/or 1-queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV’s and great decor! There is a desk for office work, a Yoga and workout area, fully stocked - with even a Mirror to use with your subscription! Soul Haven is truly the perfect place to relax and escape. A Ping Pong Table, Gazebo, yard games, close to golf, airport, restaurants, yet in a quiet neighborhood. We like to use the cruiser bikes and ride to Escena Golf Club for lunch sometimes. This 1980+sf house has a dining area, kitchen, living room, game room, office and yoga and workout areas, washing machine and dryer and private garage. We also have a 2nd fridge in the garage for added storage. With luxurious linens and towels, games & books, personal care amenities to sooth, this hidden sanctuary called Soul Haven has been prepared for you with attention to every detail. Start the morning off by enjoying a cup of coffee on the comfortably furnished patio - watching the sunrise through the trees. Check the weather with Alexa or on any of the 5 flat-screen TV's with Roku. The inviting and stylish living room boasts french doors to the gorgeous and private back yard. Master bedroom #1 has the same doors opening to a comfy outdoor sofa - with plug nearby to scan your morning info and feel the warmth of the sunrise. The entire home has perfect sunrise to sunset natural light shining through all the doors and windows as well as areas designed for shade from our indigenous trees and landscaping for a respite from the Palm Springs summer sun in the heat of the late afternoons. There are multiple vignettes and intimate sitting areas in the yards, from the back yard fireplace gathering area and a gazebo to seats in the wonderfully shaded front yard. The well-appointed chef's kitchen is fully equipped. The private patio has a BBQ and prep station, bar area, ample seating and is beautifully landscaped. A Flat screen TV in every room and central heat/cooling and of course, A/C. There is a built in small bar for romantic, elegant evening martini's - a bit Sinatra-esque. I designed it and had it built and installed for my hubby and we LOVE entertaining at it. Chilled, Shaken Martini in a copper glass anyone? Telescope, ping pong, a plethora of games, candy jar and so much more. A work-out and yoga space with The Mirror, weights, Yoga mats, and jump rope, too. Everything you need - just bring yourselves, the groceries and a desire to feel pampered. There is a toy box usually full of pool tubes and floats and pool games – NOTE: they come and go and can change/pop with visitors. We do not guarantee how many are there - so please feel free to bring your own! There’s also an electric pump for blowing them up. The spacious (huge) back yard has several areas to sit, relax, cook and dine at and enjoy. Plenty of seating in the shaded cabana, on the couch by the master patio, in lounge chairs next to the pool, the dining area in the shade, the fire place surrounded by lounging furniture and more! Not to mention the pool and spa themselves… the gas BBQ grill with plenty of prep space available. There is a bar with seating, too! THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: * POOL CAN BE HEATED FOR YOU/POOL IS NOT HEATED: The pool is maintained, but is unheated unless you ask. It is a cold swimming temperature in winter months. Due to the elements and weather, the temperature can fluctuate between 62* (October through March, usually) and 85+* (Late May through September, usually). The sun naturally warms the pool, weather dependent, and in the summer months it typically is between 78*-85*. * IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE POOL HEATED DURING YOUR STAY: We can easily heat the pool even more for you for an added cost. We need advance notice and there is an added fee. The cost to maintain a heated pool is expensive, and goes up exponentially when heating in the winter. If you let us know in advance, we are happy to increase the temperature for you, to a balmy 85*. We charge an added $150.00/day (every day of your stay including arrival and departure) for this added heat. We will turn it up prior to your arrival. When you book, or at least 72 hours prior to your arrival, simply let us know and we will make a change to your reservation of the added amount. This also changes your ABB/VRBO Service fee a bit, too, FYI. * SPA USE: Spa heat and use are included in your nightly rate. Instructions for use are in the house. * NOISE: No amplified noise outdoors at any time due to a Palm Springs noise ordinance. Please be respectful of surrounding neighbors, especially at night. * SMOKING: This is a smoke-free property. Please do not smoke anywhere on property. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if there is evidence of smoking. * CITY TAX: There is a Palm Springs “Transient Occupancy Tax” (TOT) assessed based on the nightly rate. Palm Springs TOT Permit 9109 / City ID 4972. * MAX NUMBER OF GUESTS: 6, including any Children * PALM SPRINGS AND PETS: I am a dog owner and LOVE dogs, but please understand: Palm Springs is hard on pets. Many hikes prohibit dogs and the heat can affect them. The community frowns on dogs left in cars – even in winter – and will tell you so. Pool water is not good for dogs to drink and they can accidentally fall in when it is covered. Please think twice before bringing your pet to Palm Springs. * PETS: This is a dog-friendly house, but pets need to be cleared BEFORE BOOKING. We have you sign our rules as agreed to. We do not charge a pet fee - but we do require you accept our rules. Max 2. YOU MUST let us know in advance if you plan on bringing yours. Only house-broken, well behaved pets and owners allowed. Dogs must be walked and if they “go” in the yard, it must be on the rock area – not on the turf. Please pick up after your pets! Additional cleaning fees will be charged if there is pet waste or damage. * LATE CHECK IN'S & CHECK OUT'S: There are hard for us because our homes take several hours to clean. It is also hard for our Housekeeping Team to move their schedule around. IF YOU DESIRE ONE: *Ask as soon as you know you would like it. If we can accommodate it, it is: *$45 for every hour we can accommodate it. We request advance payment to ensure availability and it is non refundable if not used. ***IMPORTANT CITY WIDE ORDINANCES: * NO Excessive Noise. Amplified music is prohibited outdoors at all times. The city will cite guests & owners if there are any complaints and guests are responsible for any citation fees associated with noise or parking. Please be mindful of this strict policy and our neighbors during your stay. * CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES: Are firm unless otherwise agreed in writing, in advance (additional fees may apply.) Please be respectful of them due to the time it takes to clean the property. * SECURITY CAMERAS: There is a Ring Doorbell and it does monitor deliveries. There are also 4 security cameras on exterior of the property, 3 face out toward the street and 1 monitors the entire backyard. They are active, but are not monitored when the house is in use. There are no interior cameras, only window and door alarm monitors which are also disabled while you visit. * EXTERIOR DOOR CHIMES: There are 3 doors exiting the house to the back yard: The 2 bi-fold doors in the living room and the bedroom as well as a man-door in the garage. The Town of Palm Springs mandates we have a door chime on all of the doors that exit from the house to the pool, for pool safety. You will see these door chimes on the 3 doors just mentioned at the top. DO NOT REMOVE OR TAMPER WITH THESE CHIMES PLEASE. As homeowners, we have found that these chimes can be annoying and some people turn them off. They have 3 settings: OFF; CHIME; SIREN. We recommend you use the chime for your safety and security around the pool; especially if you have children. The on/off/chime switch is easy to see and use on them. * NOTE: Please treat the house with the same respect you would treat your own. Guests will be charged an extra fee for excessive cleaning, stains, or damage to the house. * Pool maintenance is provided 2 times per week (Monday and Thursday) and gardening is performed weekly (Both subject to change). Every effort will be made to not disrupt you during your stay, but they must do their jobs to keep the yard in good condition for you! They access the yard quietly and privately. Do not leave dogs unattended in yard. IMPORTANT LONG STAY NOTES: For stays of 10+ Nights: We require and charge $350/per mid-stay housekeeping visit We will add the charge post booking, as ABB/VRBO does not have a way to distinguish a long stay charge. We will schedule the visits with you, in advance. Secure key-less access with a private code valid just for you during only your stay. We are focused on your enjoyment from cleanliness to safety, security and comfort. It shows in our amazing amenities, too. I am available by phone and text. I am in the area often - and we have a property manager very nearby - but it is your place when you are there. Additional Housekeeping is available upon request for a fee. Soul Haven is located in the Gene Autry neighborhood. It is a quiet & private location in one of the nicest communities in Palm Springs. Centrally located, safe, spacious and clean. Nearby Victoria Park is a great 20 minute morning walk. The Palm Springs Dog Park is a 5 minute drive. Cool off poolside or indoors with A/C for hot Palm Springs summers and an indoor and outdoor fireplace for winter ambiance. Everything you need is here! Car, bike (we supply 4 cruisers!), Uber, Sunline Transit system with a stop just around the corner. Or dirt bike, Rhino and play in the desert behind us! IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are seeking a longer stay, we do accept them, but we like to interact with you to approve it. We add housekeeping mid-stay and have a housekeeping team come in every 2 weeks (2 x a month) and will schedule it with you, for your convenience. Amenities, Amenities, Amenities! Hospitality is in our Soul. We know a good rental must feel inviting when you walk in. It is clean, well laid out and comfortable with all the basic needs covered of course, but it is the added touches that envelop you and make you feel like you are on vacation. We try hard to surprise and delight. From the above mentioned bikes and incredibly equipped gourmet kitchen to sunscreen and starter coffee, we strive to take care of all the details so you can immediately feel relaxed, pampered and like you are on a vacation in a home away from home. Located in the heart of Palm Springs, CA: The Gene Autry Neighborhood! Perfect place for any visit - weather you are industry folk or working, desirous of a romantic getaway, family vacation or just a friends getaway - this is the place! Everything you need at your fingertips! There is abundant golf courses, water park and even great Dirt Bike & Toy Riding nearby, and a garage to store your toys during your stay! We are near the airport which is convenient. We are not in the flight path, but you can also hear the planes. The Palm Springs airport operated from 6AM to 10PM. There are 2 planes scheduled between 6 and 7AM and full disclosure - if you are a light sleeper - you can hear them. I do not, but I am used to it and not a light sleeper. Perfect for business travelers and work contracts who want a sense of home. Affordable enough for a couple, spacious enough for 3 couples or a family! There is a pool, FYI for those with children. Completely non smoking. Our Green Efforts: • Products and Offerings: We lead the way in using dispensers for shampoo, soap, lotion, among other amenity items. We pride ourselves in the products we use, too. They are all good for you and good for the earth from organic raw products going into them to bio-degradable packaging and as local as can be creation and transportation . • Energy Efficiency: We have policies and smart home technologies in every home, as we can, to ensure our properties are as efficient as possible. From LED light bulbs and energy efficient appliances to smart locks, lights, and thermostats to “heat on demand” spa and pool heating for just when you want it. We have also invested in insulation and maintenance to ensure heating and cooling are efficient. • Re-use, Reduce, Recycle, Sustainability is forefront in our thoughts and offerings. Cities vary, but where possible, we have recycling and compost bins in addition to trash. We also opt for digital information v. paper whenever possible.
