The space Built in 1925, the property retains antique oak wood floors throughout and showcases original character and architectural details typical of Colonial homes, including ceiling moldings, intricate woodwork, vintage hardware, and period fireplaces. The interior is eclectically styled, blending antique and contemporary elements to create a cozy, welcoming space. In the formal dining room, a wooden table comfortably seats ten on bentwood chairs by Thonet. A swinging door leads to the country kitchen with direct great views of the garden. A cozy office just off the kitchen includes a classic roll-top desk. The formal living room offers a large sofa and six armchairs beside the grand fireplace. The artwork includes a 19th-century Italian oil painting, an 18th-century French portrait, Picasso and Matisse lithographs, and 3 Kinetic 1970's art pieces . The family/TV room is lined with original, floor-to-ceiling solid wood paneling and features a large, comfy U-shaped sofa. Upstairs, the primary bedroom includes a king-sized Tempur-Pedic bed. The child’s room has a single bed. The third bedroom can be arranged with either two twin beds or one king-sized bed. The upstairs playroom with a Peloton bike, or fourth bedroom offers a king-sized Tempur-Pedic high-end sofa bed. The three bathrooms retain their original design. The home is designed for easy, comfortable living in a private and quiet neighborhood.
