The house is located about an hour south of Jackson, Wyoming and the Grand Teton National Park. If you want to be busy, you will have no trouble filling your days with fishing, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, river rafting, 4-wheeling, horseback riding and more. If you are looking for relaxation, you can relax at the cabin enjoying the many birds and wildlife that make Star Valley their home. Our views are spectacular. The peace and quiet is priceless! The space Our home is comfortably equipped and sure to enhance your home. There are two bedrooms upstairs, Queen-sized beds in both bedrooms, as well as a master bath with a shower and a full bathroom off the second bedroom. Two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. The comfortable living room has a 40-inch flat screen with a Roku. The dining room has a large table with seating for 6. A fully equipped kitchen with complimentary hot beverages for the Keurig. At the end of the day you can relax, read, play board games, do puzzles, take a hike or if you want to check in with civilization Wi-Fi is available. A washer and dryer are also available for use. Guest access The main floor is available for guest with an amazing new deck for viewing the surrounding 10 acres and public grounds. The kitchen has a stove, double oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, blender, crockpot, Keurig, cutting boards, plates, dishes, flatware, glasses, pots, pans, basic cooking utensils. Bath towels and hair dryers are in the bathrooms. Linens are provided. Other things to note Things to Do in Star Valley: Experience the largest cold-water geyser. Hiking to the geyser is a beautiful and easy hike. Golfing is south of Afton on a beautiful golf course designed by Johnny Miller. There is plenty of fishing in Star Valley! The sporting goods stores can sell you a license and tell you where the fish are biting and what kind of flies or bait to use. Mountain biking, tubing on the Salt River, and kayaking are popular. Skiing just 70 miles north in Jackson. The Snake River provides world-class rapids for rafting or canoeing. Yellowstone National Park is 125 miles north. There are elk and bird refuges 30 miles north in Alpine. Check with the National Forest Service for hiking, cross country skiing and four wheeling trails.
