Boutique Bayfront Cottage w/ Stunning Water Views
Description
Welcome to our Cottage on the Bay! With shabby chic decor and slip-covered furniture, beautiful quilts and art on the wall we had "romantic get-away" in mind with our design. This is our guest house, but you will enjoy plenty of privacy in this quiet little cottage with your own large private rear deck and flower garden that we've created for your enjoyment. Centrally located between both river and ocean wonders and yet still close to town. Check our 4-night special! The space We are a non-smoking, no vaping residence. Also, our 'no pet policy' is out of concern for the health of our other guests who are allergic to pet dander in such a small space. This little cottage is ideal for travel nurses or other travel professionals and those who work remotely as we have great high speed wifi. You will appreciate the quiet and privacy available here. The cottage is surrounded by decking and the view is amazing! The rear of the deck is 10' x 24' and furnished for your relaxation and includes a grill for your use. The morning sun lands on the deck giving you the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee/drink. Experience many lovely sunsets right out your living room window. Guest access There is no public transportation available, although we are just 3-1/2 miles from the Coast Highway 101, and 5 miles from downtown North Bend. One mile of that distance is across the beautiful McCullough Bridge. Close to numerous antique and vintage stores and museums. Ocean beaches, sand dunes, coastal attractions, Coos River and waterfalls. Endless outdoor activities available and sightseeing. Books with hiking trails available for your use. Centrally located on the coast, there are many small towns to visit just a short drive north or south on the coastal highway. And not to forget; hunting, fishing and beautiful local golf courses. Other things to note THE WEATHER The best weather for our summer season runs from about mid-July through late September... sometimes even into October. As you may guess from the view photos, we are right on the bay (Coos Bay) and the view is beautiful, and the sunsets are awesome. Storm watchers might enjoy this area also. We offer coffee and a selection of teas for when you arrive in case you need a moment to relax or recharge, before you go grocery shopping. There is an outdoor grill on the deck at the rear of the house all set up for you to use. FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT SO FAMILIAR WITH THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTICE! Regarding firearms: Oregon State is still a "legal open carry" law state. My husband is the watermaster and must go occasionally to the top of the mountain to inspect our water system and he will take a firearm with him when he does this because he occasionally encounters wild animals, such as cougar or bear, and takes safety precautions
