Magical San Francisco/Garden/Views/Outdoor Tub

Located in the heart of San Francisco, atop beautiful Bernal Heights. The colorful & spacious Garden Suite has a private bathroom & a double & twin size bed. It opens on to the Parlor, a unique kitchenette & lounge area which opens onto the Magical Garden. You will be treated to stunning Golden Gate Bridge & skyline views and can enjoy the stars from the outdoor soaking tub. The summit of Bernal Hill is at your door for a walk or run & offers a 360° vista of the city and unforgettable sunsets. The space The Garden Suite is located on the first floor of a colorful San Francisco home, in the lovely neighborhood of Bernal Heights. It contains a spacious private bedroom with a private bathroom and lofty kitchenette/lounge area, plus a laundry room. PLENTY OF FREE STREET PARKING! We live on the second floor in our own private space. A scenic twenty minute walk will take you to the vibrant Latino Mission District or Bernal's lovely Cortland Avenue which both offer a fabulous choice of world class restaurants. The Garden Suite opens onto a magical, park-like garden with many terraces and multiple cosy seating areas. You can enjoy amazing views of San Francisco, watch the abundant bird life and listen to the relaxing sounds of our "WaterContraptions" while enjoying your favorite beverage. The beautiful six foot long, two person soaking tub is the perfect place for you to soak in those San Francisco views or from which to watch Karl the Fog roll in! Plumbed of course with hot and cold water, large towels and epsom salts provided! The bedroom has a comfortable full size bed and a single bed and of course opens on to the Magical Garden! There is also a single floor futon but if you are more than three guests ask us about our two room listing, which is this bedroom and another equally lovely bedroom sharing the same bathroom. The bathroom has a shower and a tub. The laundry room has a full washer and dryer and a sink for doing dishes. The eclectic Parlor has a kitchenette with a fridge (stocked for you with simple breakfast items), a two burner electric stovetop, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, crock pot, rice cooker and toaster oven coffee, teas, plus a table and chairs and a cozy hangout spot with a heater. It's a sweet place to have breakfast or enjoy a drink in the evening if it's too chilly in the garden. It is equipped with board games to play, vinyl to listen to, blankets for the garden, even a yoga mat if you are craving some stretching! The vast outdoor space is shared with us, however it has multiple cozy seating areas to choose from . Bernal Heights is a lovely safe, quiet and sunny neighborhood, just above and south of the vibrant Latino "Mission" neighborhood. We are just steps away from Bernal Hill Park - a great place for a walk or run, sunrise/sunset viewing, star gazing and the best 360 degree view of San Francisco. You may even see one of our resident coyotes or great horned owls on the hill. Our house is a fifteen minute walk from Cortland Avenue, a lovely shopping street complete with healthy grocery market, unique gift store, yoga, massage, library and art galleries. There you will find a multitude of delicious eating establishments - Japanese, Peruvian, Italian, Mexican, Chinese cuisine and more, excellent coffee shops, a library, art gallery and bakeries. The Alemany Farmers Market on Saturdays and the flea market on Sundays are fun excursions, just a short hike or drive over the hill. San Francisco is only 7 miles x 7 miles! Uber or Lyft is the easiest way to get around. However, the convenient MUNI 67 bus line stops right across the street and will take you to the 24th Street BART station in five minutes. BART will take you downtown in minutes. MUNI buses connect here to all points in the city including Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Park, all museums and city attractions. STREET PARKING IS REALLY EASY ON OUR STREET! Guest access Guests have full access to their bedroom, bathroom, the Parlor/kitchenette and the expansive terraced garden with it's soaking tub and multiple seating areas . The outdoor area is shared with us. The garden has multiple terraces and provides many different seating options.
