Our home is located on a 16 Acre PRIVATE Lake Traverse City 14 miles Sleeping Bear Dune 31 miles Crystal Mountain 17 miles Smart TV Coffee Private Lake Access Full Kitchen A Recent Review The home was very clean and updated. Having the use of a boat was awesome and the lake was great for fishing. Very good sound proofing between the duplexes. Never heard the neighbors once! The space Please Note: The road right in front of our place US 31 is being redone spring thru fall of 2026. They are required to leave access to our place open at all times. There will be a detour for all East bound traffic. West bound to be open at all times. What this basicly means is you will have to take a left turn out of our place and will not be able to turn right, just follow the detour signs. Yes there will be delays Yes at times will be nouisey Yes may be agravating! Not much I can do about it. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Jeff The Perfect Getaway (left side of unit, B Red Door) This unit features a kitchen that is fully equipped with all the essentials such as pot and pans, coffee maker and coffee, blender, slow cooker and your basic kitchen items to cook a nice meal. This is a 1 bedroom unit with a queen size bed's & all the linens you will need. 50” Smart TV with Netflix, also has ultra fast 5G WIFI . The bathroom has a stand up shower, hair dryer, iron & board and washer &dryer so that you can take care of your laundry needs. This unit has a deck with a patio table and chairs & outside grill, a screened in Gazebo down by the lake, so that you can truly enjoy those long summer days. The things you will LOVE about The Perfect Getaway #1 Location *Row Boat to use to explore our lake or go fishing during season. *20 minutes to TRAVERSE CITY *26 miles to the SLEEPING BEAR DUNES National Park *17 miles to Crystal Mountain *3 miles to the Blue Bridge Events Center *5 minutes to the world renowned Interlochen Arts Academy * 1/2 mile to Interlochen Golf course *ULTRA FAST WIFI 200+mbps Located on a 16-acre Private Lake, RIGHT OFF of US 31, just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen. #2 Our house is newly remodeled, the unit is AIR CONDITIONED for those warm summer days, great effort has went into sound proofing one side from the other, this is what a recent guest had to say (The way the duplex is set up your privacy is not compromised at all. In fact, I would have never known we had a neighbor unless I saw their car. We did not hear a peep. Gaea) #3 THE LAKE, we have a deck area screened in Gazebo, and you will be amazed at the number of birds that fly in. we have a boat for your use, row around the lake, go fishing! PLEASE NOTE this is not a swimming lake, and we just say that because of the mucky shoreline, there is no beach area to access the lake. #4 The YARD, PATIO & LAKE are awesome since they allow you to enjoy the best days of the seasons. Also, we have a gas fired outside Grill for your use, grill to your heart's delight! Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting. #1 No Parties are permitted in our house or property at all times during your stay. #2 Our house is nice but its not perfect for all people, even though we have put lots of effort into this place there are always small what seem like trivial issues to most that really upset others such as, this house is a Duplex, there is no bathtub we have a stand up shower, there is no dishwasher, located RIGHT OFF of US 31, road noise when outside, our lake is not a swimming lake etc. #3 We ask all our guests to respect the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at all times during their stay. We expect our guests to be quiet after 11:00 pm. So if you intend to behave like a party animal, our place is not for you but if you intend to behave like a resident, you should love your stay. Now that this is clear, let's get to the description of the place. Guest access There entire unit, side B of the Duplex. Your own deck area also have your own screened in Gazebo area down by the lake. Other things to note Our place is located off of a Highway, yes there is road noise while outside, this house is a duplex both sides are dedicated to short term travelers. Air Conditioned, large lawn areas, ample parking, private lake, with dock, row boat, deck with outside gas grill. close to all Northern Michigan has to offer.
