Welcome to our "Loomis Log Cabin": Tranquil Countryside Getaway where you can gather to celebrate a special Event or just decompress & leave your worries behind. Gather by the fire pit and enjoy the warmth of engaging conversations while indulging your taste buds with smores. Relax on a nature walk or unwind under the stars while lying on our two person hammock. Our vision in designing our homes is to incorporate luxuries & comforts that create lifelong, memorable, experiences for our guests. The space Our property includes 9+ acres located in the countryside. We are surrounded by nearby farms and our lush landscape including; mature trees and gorgeous moss covered rock outcroppings. Be sure and ask for a tour of our Events & Gathering areas including; Barbecue Kitchenette w/Mini Fridge, Gazebo's for Dining & Lounging, our Hammock/Fire Pit Area for stargazing and gathering by the warm fire, and our Quad area for fun, games and Special Events. Note: We offer small, intimate Events including; Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Bridal Showers, Church Ministry Events and Business Gatherings to name a few. You might even want to get lost in a great book from one of our favorite collections. Indulge in the feeling of comfort, warmth and heartfelt, quality time: Our open space mini Great Room is the perfect hub for gathering together. Our Pellet Stove provides ambiance and a tranquil place to cozy up with loved ones while sharing heart warming experiences. Our Guests love to begin each day with a cup of coffee, or wind down their evening with a movie or family game night surrounded in warmth. Pamper yourself in our newly remodeled Bathroom including luxury essentials to insure our Guests a relaxing; "Calgon take me away" experience... Our Relaxation Essentials allow our Guests to Melt into relaxation in our oversized soaking tub filled with L'Occitane's foaming, Lavender Bath Soak, Mandala Moon Candle Company's exquisite Bath Salts and Essential Oil Candle's made with the purest of ingredients to lull you into relaxation. Enjoy your luxury spa experience - Draw your bath, dim the lights, light a candle and be taken away into bliss. End your spa bath experience as you step out of the bath onto our temperature heated floors. What a wonderful way to top off your day on chilly mornings or cool evenings! About our Bedrooms: Our three bedrooms include: High quality pillow top mattresses or pillow toppers as well as luxury linens, bedding and pillows for our Guests supreme comfort. The Master (King Bedroom) & Trundle Bedroom include black out shades and the Chapel (Queen bedroom) has built in blinds on one of the pairs of French doors and black out shades on the other two French doors that lead onto the front porch deck. The Furniture in all rooms is Vintage including the Master Bedroom's: Carved wood & gold gilded Bed frame originally purchased from Neiman Marcus as well as the Antique Armoire and Dresser purchased from two bay area Antique Collectives. We feel blessed to be able to share our family's collection of Traditional European style: Furnishings, artwork and accessories that make up our Family's preferred design style. Welcome In. :) Guest access You are welcome to explore our 9+ acre tranquil countryside setting which houses our two listings: Our “Loomis Log Cabin” & “Farmhouse Bungalow” Tranquil Countryside Getaways. Guests often describe our property as a retreat-like setting where you can enjoy the peace & privacy of being surrounded by lush landscape w/bold rock outcroppings and the convenience of our central location! Along the way of your morning walks, there are plenty of spaces for rest, relaxation, entertainment, and celebrating your “Special Event” on our Quad where many intimate events have taken place. While meandering and sight seeing; you might even hear or happen upon a neighboring farm and a few cows, roosters, chickens, horses, barn cats, and a pot belly pig named "Osbert", as well as deer, wild turkey and ducks who visit our property seasonally Note: For your safety, please don't touch animals or reach behind fences or into cages. Enjoy! Other things to note GUEST & SPECIAL EVENTS: Our maximum guest count for our Loomis Log Cabin is 6 Guests. If you are seeking to have more guests visit our property & our listings please speak with us ahead of booking. We also offer private, small scale events. The criteria is as follows: 1) Both our: "Loomis Log Cabin" & "Farmhouse Bungalow"; Tranquil Countryside Getaway listings must be rented in order to have a private event on our 9+ acre property since our common grounds and entertainment areas are shared. 2) We require a two night minimum stay at each listing 3) We can allow up to 25 people maximum. 4) There will be an additional cost for the event which will be determined based on your (Our Guest’s ) Individual needs. Possible Event Examples: Small intimate Weddings, Rehearsal dinners, Bridal showers, Photography sittings, Corporate workshops, Movie production etc. If you are interested in a special event please inquire prior to booking our two listings. We are excited to welcome You to our property! GUEST SPECIALTY KITS: For the convenience & added luxury of our Guests, "Specialty Kits" are available for purchase. Please let us know 72 hours before your stay so all your needs are stocked for you upon your arrival. Specialty Kits: 1) Fire Pit Kit: 6 Oak Fire Logs, Kindling & Fire Starters: $25.00/bundle. 2) Smores Kit: Smore's will be roasted on Fire Pit Above: $20.00 Graham Crackers, Marshmallows, Hershey's Chocolate Bars. 3) Barbecue Kit: Charcoal Briquettes & Starter Fluid are normally on site and are complimentary. If none are available upon arrival you can purchase from Raley's located 5 minutes away in Loomis. 4) Indoor Pellet Stove Kit: (1 Bag of Pellets lasts approx. 24 hrs.): $13.00/bag Note: We will provide a hopper full of pellets for your 1st fire. Once you are checked in; Please message us to purchase additional bags of pellets. ADDITIONAL DETAIL FOR YOUR SAFETY: 1) Please be respectful of our neighbors by driving (5 miles per hour) on Surette Lane and upon entering our gravel driveway. This insures safety for our Neighbors & Guests and keeps dust to a minimum. 2) Your safety is our top priority! Note: Walkways leading towards the Log Cabin are made of traditional, uneven brick. Please take caution & watch your step. 3) Regarding Service Animals: Although we love animals, we have spoken to the Airbnb Case Managers Team regarding our family member who is severely allergic. Thus, we are sad to say that we (cannot) allow Service Animals of any kind in our home. Our biggest concern is the health of our family and Guests.
