You will enjoy plenty of space to be comfortable and relax while being tucked into the beauty of the mountains. Just minutes from the Ocoee River you’ll be amazed at the luxurious cabin and the outdoor activities available. From the moment you walk into the massive open layout living dining area with pine walls, rock gas log fireplace, to the massive ceiling beams and wall of windows, you will fall in love. For ultimate relaxation enjoy the outdoor deck and hot tub, there’s room for everyone to sit and talk while enjoying the outdoors. The spacious front and back yard is perfect for a friendly game of football, volleyball or playing frisbees. Indoors enjoy a game of pool, ping pong, foosball or a family game of cards or dominos or video games. The cabin has it all. From the front of the home you will enjoy a year round view of “Big Frog Mountain”, part of the Cherokee National Forrest. Take a short ride into McCaysville or Blue Ridge, GA and enjoy antique shops and great food. Travel down Hwy 64 (River Road) and visit the Ocoee Whitewater Center. There is Rafting, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Zip Lines and Horseback riding available within minutes of the cabin. You can hike one of the many famous hiking trails or visit one of the beautiful waterfalls. You can also take your family to visit Mercer Orchards in Blue Ridge and go apple picking if you are coming in early fall. The possibilities are endless. Take a day trip and enjoy a train ride from Blue Ridge, GA on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway or Etowah, TN on the Tennessee Valley Railroad. For more Local History visit the Ducktown Museum, it’s well worth the time. This secluded hilltop cabin is easy to get to as just off a main highway and the driveway is concrete. It also has a ramp to the back porch for wheelchair accessibility and the interior door's are wide for accessibility to the restrooms with safety grab bars installed in the bathtubs. A big plus for senior guests! Events are not allowed unless getting permissions from the host(small weddings). Bed layout: Lower Level- one set of twin bunk beds (sleeps 2), one twin bunk bed with trundle (sleeps 3), and one full set of bunk beds (sleeps 4). (one bedroom) Main Level- one king bedroom(sleep number mattress), three queens(all added with 2" memory foam toppers) and one extra size twin sofa bed. (4 bedrooms) Upper level- with one king, one double and one twin beds. (two bedrooms --- it is a suite with two rooms connected by a hallway without door in between) Guest access entire cabin Other things to note Base price is for 10 guests. A fee of $25/night will be charged for each additional guest after 10. Booking page total will include the fee for up to 16 guests.
