The Reed House features its own private dock with three kayaks available for full use. Featuring a 10'x44' elevated deck overlooking Jordan Cove with fabulous sunsets. The Reed House features an open floor plan with two baths, gas fireplace, central air, washer/dryer and dishwasher. This vacation home can accommodate up to 8 people. The beach access from the immediate property is open to the public, providing a vast area of shallow water that is perfect for families with young children. The deck provides a peaceful setting for your morning coffee while watching the native birds start their day. After a long day at the beach, the evening sunsets make for the perfect ending to a perfect day. The front door has a keypad for access as well as the garage. When the tide goes out you can find several species of shellfish along with blue shell crab and fish all season long. There is a public boat launch located about 500 yards away that gives you access to the Long Island Sound. The Reed House is located in the middle of great bars with excellent nightlife, numerous wedding venues, and two world class casinos; Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods Resort Casino. If you're into saltwater fishing, there are several commercial sport fishing charters that you can hire for an awesome day of fishing. Our home is NOT a location to host any type of party. It is geared towards a family getaway.
