The space This exuberant 1892 Queen Anne Victorian house was built by Dr. Isaac Porter Primrose, and was once the Doctor’s office and the home of his family. The house has fabulous oak trim and floors, colorful stained glass transoms, and original kitchen cabinets with marble countertop. After being a residence for well over a century, the house has now been completely restored as a Bed and Breakfast. This beautiful Bed and Breakfast is across the street from our well known and famous Hyde House built in 1882. Primrose B & B is close to the city center, art and culture, great views, and parks. Excellent for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and big groups. Only 1 block from Nelsonville Square and close to Hocking Hills Sate Park and 25 min from Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave with miles of trails for hiking. The Primrose House estate has a large wrap around front porch with plenty of sitting, lots of space for relaxing. The estate has a lovely dining area, sitting room, parlor room and four well appointed bedrooms & 4 1/2 bathrooms. Each guest will have a comfortable colorful room with private bath. The Path room has Queen size bed and an-suite bathroom on our second floor. Our guests will definitely want to visit Nelsonville's Historic Arts District with Stuart's Opera House, Hocking College and the Starbrick Music Festival.
