Come check out this diverse and vibrant neighborhood filled with cool local coffee shops like Onda Coffee and Coffeeholic House, great restaurants like Tutta Bella Pizzeria and fun bars like Slow Boat Tavern. We are also butted up close to beautiful parks like Seward Park, Lake Washington and the Kubota Gardens. Getting around is so easy from the house! The light rail is a 10 minute walk through Columbia City's downtown (swing by the bakery for a snack!). The bus (no.7) is a 3 minute walk just down the street. Downtown is a 20 minute train or 35 minute bus north. Lake Washington/Seward Park is a 12-18 minute jog East. Hillman City's downtown is 2 blocks away and Columbia city downtown is a 7 minute walk. Our flat is nestled in between the two historic downtowns of Columbia City and Hillman City. Come check out this diverse and vibrant spot just south of the more well known Columbia City neighborhood. Hillman City has its local favorites in its own downtown with coffee shops like CoffeeHolic House and unassuming bar Slow Boat Tavern. We are also near beautiful parks like Seward Park, Lake Washington and the Kubota Gardens. If you love seeing people walking their dogs in the morning, people waking up early to queue at the local bakery and coffee shop then this is the place for you. The Seattle neighborhood of Hillman City is considered very safe. The city of Seattle however is an urban city and we have an active downtown. Hillman City/Columbia City is close to downtown and as central access to public transit, so many great attractions and other excellent Seattle neighborhoods. Which means that due to it's location the house is not without it's noise- there may be construction, lawn mowers and people chatting outside. The house is also centrally located to many communities with people in different walks of life.
