This wonderful beach front property has tall ceilings, open floor plan, two King beds, and two bathrooms. Watch the ocean roll in from different seats in the Living Room, stroll into town for coffee and pastries, or beach comb the day away. The storms in January '23 destroyed the rear steps. A new design is currently under review with the County of Marin so they can be rebuilt. The other three decks are intact and entrance is unencumbered. A 5th guest is allowed if under the age of two. There's nothing but sand between you and the Pacific Ocean at this spacious and relaxing beachfront house in Stinson Beach. Located just three houses down from the State Park and sprawled across three lots, this home has two off-street parking spaces, picnic bench outdoor seating, and huge unencumbered views of the ocean from the comfort of the Living Room. The master bedroom has a King size bed, private bathroom with jacuzzi tub and views out to ocean, plus a 5x10 ocean-facing deck which is also accessible from the Living Room. The second bedroom also has a King size bed, skylight, window view of the ocean from the bed, and a separate bathroom with shower stall with a bright sunny skylight. The large open Living Room has 10' ceilings, and four enormous 92" tall windows for a magnificent, panoramic view of the ocean, occasionally with views of dolphins and sea otters swimming and playing in the surf. The kitchen has all basic amenities: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, stemware, drip coffee maker, french press with grinder. No perishables are provided besides salt, pepper and some assorted spices. The washer/dryer are located in the Laundry Room adjacent to the Kitchen, and detergent is provided. There is Wi-Fi on-site and a smart TV in each bedroom, plus a blu-ray player, iPod dock, and CD player in the Living Room. The hot tub is located in the rear corner of the property. Guests must rinse off sea water before entering in order to keep the water from turning green. Children are to be supervised at all times. Pets and parties are not allowed. SMOKING INSIDE IS PROHIBITED. Thank you. Noise which may disturb the occupants of neighboring properties is not permitted. Amplified music is not permitted outdoors. Large groups (more than eight during the day and four at night) are not allowed due to the limitations of the septic systems (sorry about that) and adverse impact on the home and neighbors. Breach of this clause, complaints by neighbors, or a visit from the Sheriff may result in a fine of $500 and/or you being required to vacate the property forfeiting your entire payment and all associated fees. Ouch. There is central heat so you'll be cozy inside any time of the year. There is no air conditioning. I tend to not approve splitting up weekend nights, but please email me. There are two parking spaces on site and walking to downtown is about 10 -15 minutes. The property is all yours during your reservation. If I need to drop by for some reason I would email or call you first to see if it would be convenient for you. The only time I've done that in the past is to inspect damages or bring items that might be useful to you during your stay (eg, toilet paper, beach towels, etc) Safety note: Please be aware that all sorts of unknown objects wash ashore onto the beach, and that in the time since this house was built, many types of parties, activities, and construction has taken place that would deposit unknown items onto the sand which time has made difficult to clean up. We do our best, but there are risks and you should use caution while walking bare foot and with children. Furniture is subject to change at any time due to unforeseen damages and/or cleaning needs. The total number of guests--day time and overnight-- must be approved by host. If you exceed the number of guests stated in your booking request, or if you bring a pet which is prohibited, you will be asked to leave and your payment will not be refunded. It's right on the beach! The Calle is two streets from downtown so it's extremely convenient to walk along the beach and into town for a coffee and pastry, go out to dinner in the evening, or walk up into the hills for the Matt Davis trail, Steep Ravine, etc. We're lucky to have two parking spaces on this quiet street and hope you enjoy your stay.
