This home was recently used to film a movie in due to its elegant decor. (The Director and his crew loved the home so much, they chose not to stay at the "Davenport Hotel" and chose to stay in the home while they filmed as well.) The home is located in one of Spokane's Newest, most Upscale neighborhoods. Newer sidewalks lead up to an 8-minute walk up the street with a massive jogging trial, 2 kids parks, and 2 tennis courts. While the front of the home has all the conveniences of a traditional neighborhood, (snow removal by the city in winter, no secluded, dirt roads, easy access to stores and downtown, etc.) the back of this beautiful home backs to its own Private Forest with more Conservation land behind it...all this and just minutes to Downtown. It truly is the Best of Both Worlds. This home is frequently rented to Celebrities, Movie Executives, film crews, and musicians. (We can't release any names, but there is a very popular show about "Zombies" that filmed in Spokane ;-) **PLEASE NOTE: This is our more affordable, 6 Bedroom option of this 7 Bedroom home, for guests who want all the amenities of a luxury home, but don't need 7 bedrooms. (Depending on the weather conditions for our Contractor to work on it.) The Patio is always open There is always someone available for any emergency, 24 hours a day. The management team is only a maximum of 20-30 mins away should you need anything, and always available to answer questions via Airbnb's messenger system. For non-emergencies, we kindly ask that our guests leave any unnecessary messaging after 8:00PM until the next morning. Here are our thoughts on "checking up" with guests during their stay as some Hosts do: We prefer our Guest's feel as if they are in their own place during their time in the home, and we don't like to interrupt the "flow" of our guest's visit, so we won't be pestering guests with "check-up" emails during their stay (unless they request us to,) as many guests find this to be "intrusive", "bothersome" and "nosey" (these are actual words used they we first started hosting and asked guests about their views on being "monitored" during their stay.)...But, rest assured that someone is always available to address any questions or concerns that may arise during your stay. The home is located in Spokane's Newest and most Desirable neighborhood. Surrounded by upscale homes that back to a small private forest and more city-owned conservation land. Just a sampling of some of the Coffee Shops, Restaurants and Stores, 5 mins down the hill : • Starbucks - Drive through, Cafe and outside Patio area - Several restaurants. There are also several Bars with outside patios (some with live music during Summer). • Rosauer's - A Well-Stocked Large Grocery Store with a wonderful Deli and Wine and Spirits section is just 3 mins down the hill. Please Note: • The home is located in a Quiet Residential Neighborhood, so loud, large parties are not permitted. Please consider this before booking this home. • Small parties/dinners, etc. with additional Guests not staying on the property will be considered on a case by case basis with the approval of the owner. (Please note: there are additional guest and cleaning fees depending on the number of Guests attending the party. Even if the guests are not staying the night, *every* person who comes unto the property must be registered and paid for as required by the City of Spokane.) There is parking for approximately 3 cars (depending on the size of the cars) in the driveway. There is 24 hours Free Parking for 4 cars on the street in front of the home. There is Public Transportation (RTD Bus) stop down the hill. About a 15 min walk. The airport is about a 15-20 min drive away. Of course, Taxi & Uber Cabs are also at your disposal 24 hours a day. There is plenty of room for extra Guests, there are 10 beds + 5 Sofas to accommodate 15+ Guests. Total 16 Guests in Beds. + 5 on Sofas = 21 sleeping areas in total. Please Note: *** The nightly rate includes *** 12 Guests *** only. - Registered Guests beyond the 15 guests that we provide beds for, included in the 10-bed/sofa count, are welcome to sleep on the sofas, bring air mattresses, sleeping bags, etc. This is a very popular option for Teams and Large Families. (Please note: We ONLY provide sheets for our beds and sleeper sofas, we do not provide sleeping bags, sheets, or bedding for the sofas, or Guest's air mattresses, etc. ) - We understand that some Hosts ask their Guests to remove the sheets from the beds before they check out, but we do not. - We are required by the City of Spokane to obtain guest names and names and ages of all minor guests upon registration. We are also required to keep the information for any vehicles that might be parked on the property by the guest's check-in date. - As previously stated, there are several closets are cabinets that are locked off from guests' use. (None of the closed-off closets are in the guest rooms, those are all open.) We ask that guests do not attempt to "break into" any of the locked-off cabinets or doors. There is a min. $350 for any damage (chipped paint, broken locks, etc.) done while trying to break into these areas. - The Deck is closed during winter as required by our insurance. - There is a 4-night minimum stay during some holidays and events: Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Christmas, 3 Night Stay for: Memorial Day, PNQ, Gonzaga, Whitworth and Eastern Homecoming and Graduations weekends. Lastly, we highly encourage guests to purchase Traveler's Insurance. We do *not* grant cancellations and/or issue refunds due to canceled events and/or sudden illness, pandemics, natural disasters that do not affect the home, flight cancellations and/or any travel-related issues that may occur.
