Comfortable Bungalow near Historic Harpers Ferry!

The Bungalow is located near the Potomac River and is very close to Harpers Ferry, WV, Antietam National Battlefield, historic Sharpsburg, MD, the C&O canal and other local attractions. The Bungalow has a spacious feel and includes a full kitchen, 1 full bath, washer/dryer and sleeps 4. Pets are welcome! The well water is tested safe, but contains minor amounts of hydrogen sulfide which produces some odor (please see below). The neighbors lot could use some tidying, but it's out of view. The space The unit offers an open space for enjoyable social gatherings and views of the mountain. The "nest" deck (shared by both houses) provides wonderful views of the mountains. The living area includes a convertible sofa that sleep 2 comfortably. The bedroom has a memory foam queen size bed. The Bungalow also provides a full bath with tub/shower combo. Other things to note We offer special discounts for renting both houses, check with me for details. Pets under about 50 lbs are welcomed at an additional fee of $40 per pet, per stay, but must be crated when unattended. I can make exceptions to the fee structure for small dogs or multiple pets. The sofa in the great room easily converts to a bed. Bed linens for the convertible are stored in the sofa. In support of the global effort to conserve energy resources utilizing reasonable practices, we have installed Ecobee “smart” thermostats in all of our listings that the guests can also control. The thermostats are preset with a maximum heating setting of 71 degrees and a minimum cooling setting of 72 degrees. If you are booking on behalf of a Travel Business, Airbnb staff has advised us to collect photo IDs of guests that will actually be at the property (if those guests do not already have a valid Airbnb account).
