On Portage Lake and 5 miles from MTU. The outdoor electric sauna is only steps from the water, and has a shower and toilet inside (winterized November-April). We have bikes, kayaks, and even a lily pad for you to use. The home has 3 bedrooms, new appliances, and an open view of the lake over the rear deck. High speed internet and wifi for business travelers. Renting by the week June through August, and 3 day minimum September through May. The space Great location on Portage Lake with sandy bottom for perfect swimming and great fishing. Cable tv, wifi, fireplace. 3 bedrooms have new queen beds and bedding, plus 1 has an additional full size bed, and the living room has a pull out couch. Parking for 4 cars. Guest access Entire house, outdoor sauna, and gazebo. The trail is non motorized and open for anyone to use, walking or biking. This lends a welcoming sense of community, and a great way to explore the waterfront! Other things to note The water is 2 to 3 ft deep at the end of the 40ft dock, which is great for swimming, but not for diving! Please remind kids to jump in feet first! Portage Lake is clear and cool, with a sandy bottom, and always warmer than the big lakes. Great fishing, and perfect for sauna/swim! The sauna will be winterized in October, and reopened in May, as weather permits.
