This stand alone cottage will provide guests with the privacy they are looking for without sacrificing all the downtown has to offer. Guests are able to tailor their access to what fits their needs. Access can be given through a person to person exchange of keys or a lock box for those entering late at night for self check in. This property is adjacent to the owner and he will be available if help or direction is needed during your stay. The downtown area is speckled with hot spots; favorite restaurants- many of which offer live entertainment, specialty shops and cafes. All of these destinations are within a short walking distance from Hydrangea House. The surrounding neighborhood is decorated with well maintained historic houses and parks that flank the waterfront. This location is ideal for getting around on foot to all of the local specialty shops and restaurants the down town has to offer as it is just one block from everything downtown, including the waterfront and bike path. Public transit is just one block away for those who wish to use the local bus company. Bristol is approximately a 35 minute drive to Newport RI, a favorite location for tourists in the summer. It is approximately a 50 minute drive from Boston by route 24. Hydrangea house is located off High Street which is designated as one of the historic scenic routes Rhode Island has to offer. It is just minutes from where the Fourth of July Parade marches and is one block from Linden Place, a popular wedding venue.
