This home is four levels – plenty of space to spread out and roam beyond its entry gate; you will find yourself transferred into an oceanic-themed home. Surfers, joggers and beach beauties like to visit the area. This home was used as a film location and holds many unlocked treasures! Villa Mira Mar is routinely maintained and cleaned for each guest prior to arrival. Flexible arrival and check out time could be accommodated for your needs. Villa Mira Mar has many detailed amenities not found in other oceanfront homes in the area, such as electrical verticals, flat screen televisions, surround music system, custom décor. As you enter the home, the surround of the home is a continuation of the ocean. The walls are sand castings. The large glass windows facing the ocean provide the most of the ocean in the south, west, and north directions. The expansive oceanfront glass verandas on every level of the home are popular spots to watch the porpoises playing, the whales spouting, the surfers surfing, or simply daydreaming to the sound of the ocean waves, and the breaking of the surf. As you dine in the living room, watch television or are cooking a delicious meal, you have the most amazing and unmatched views of the ocean to fully enjoy the ocean! On a beautiful day, which is most days in sunny Oceanside, you can see the San Clemente Islands and the Catalina Islands at the horizon. The multi-colored year round sunsets, seen daily, could melt away your worries. The concierge team of “Villa Mira Mar” will accommodate special requests to make your stay or occasion as perfect as possible and a sanctuary from the outside world. The Villa has four levels. From level four (4) of the home, the lower sand level, which we term the Loft area. THE LOFT, LEVEL FOUR (4): This room serves as a multi-purpose room with a large bar for multiple guests celebrating at the ocean front or as a children’s playroom. This sand-level loft has direct access to the Villa’s sand level, which is located just above the ocean’s sand level at a higher elevation than the ocean’s sand level. It has the fire pit, lounge chairs and a round table , and an outside shower. The inside of the Loft room has a couch/loveseat, a television, and a huge wet bar, equipped with a sub-zero refrigerator and sink. THE DEN, LEVEL THREE (3): In front of the Den is an enormous patio facing west directly in front of the ocean. This patio can be used as the dancing floor. Here is where you may enjoy the sunrise, soothing sounds of the ocean, sunsets and other memorable moments. On this patio is a gas fire pit and a BBQ. You can enter the Den through this patio or through the front door of the Villa. The Den level also has a huge carved wet bar, a pool table, a flat screen TV, electric shades and the stereo system. The décor in the Den is amazing! It is like entering a hunting den. The mirrors over the bar are carved glass with eagles, the large bar is solid oak carved with a hunting den scene. The walls are faux finish similar to a large block wall, and the bathroom is a full bath with a tub enclosure, toilet and sink, and it is decorated with hand-painted, Canadian ducks in flight. THE ENTRY/LEVEL TWO (2): This is the street entry level into the home. It is the Living Room level of the home. The uniqueness of the Villa is remarkable! From the moment you enter the Villa, you will feel as if you were entering the inside of the ocean. The large glass picture windows inside each level of the Villa are located so that guests can see the ocean from every angle of the inside of the Villa, and makes the ocean enter the home. The home’s décor also makes you feel as if you are entering the inside of the home directly into the ocean. All the walls are sand-casted with shells, the couch is in the form of a wave, a wave coffee table adds to your invitation to make you feel as you are now a small part of the ocean. This level has the kitchen, dining room, another bathroom with a beautiful mermaid inside the mirror, and another veranda, with seating for four, with retractable sliders so the room can open easily to the oceanfront, thus the massive ocean view. BEDROOMS/SLEEPING QUARTERS LEVEL ONE (1): This level, sits above the Entry Level of the home, and houses the spacious bedrooms. You will be amazed by the spacious master bedroom. It is a serene beautiful room with huge glass picture windows, which immediately enter the ocean into the room. We say the room is a “sanctuary” from the outside world because it is so peaceful. The walls in the room are covered in soothing Jasso wallpaper. The room is a private entertainment room with its own master bathroom. The master bedroom also has seating to entertain and relax. The master bedroom has a veranda with retractable sliders that opens the master bedroom to ocean views, to enjoy the ocean breeze and the gorgeous sunsets. There is a patio set on the veranda so you can have your morning coffee or tea. Often you can see a school of dolphins playing in the ocean. The master bathroom is encased with French marble and wall-to-wall mirrors. As you enter, you are welcomed by a beautiful, bold Art Noveaux Mermaid over the jetted tub, right next to the glass-enclosed shower. This bathroom has the second closet for the room. Level 1 has two additional guest bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds and the other bedroom has a King-size bed. The guest bathroom is very close, and easy to get in and out of the tub/shower enclosure. This guest bathroom has double doors so someone bathing could close the door while allowing the other person to use the vanity and sink. Guest access Exclusively reserved to one set of guests/party at a time. Access to entire house and amenities and supplies, beach and ocean. Interior and exterior stairs at the property. Other things to note City tax to be paid by visitor 11.5% of Net Booking, Cleaning fee $500, Refundable security deposit $2000. Pets are allowed with a non-refundable deposit of $300 per pet. A release of liability form is also required for pets. We will provide training to use technology in the house to operate tvs, music, shades, etc. This oceanfront coastal house is not equipped with central air conditioning, however there are ceiling fans in the the two guest rooms and portable fans available for use if needed during your stay for those occasional warmer days.
