It had been a fully equipped home minus most modern conveniences of course such as a/c, heating and gas Up until we were lucky enough to become the keepers of this property. It was kept in possession by the same family and in-laws and wasn't truly updated until the last few years when we bought it. All the stone fireplaces and foundation you will see is from the original beautiful rock from our local and Historic Hanging Rock area. The Property itself is nestled back away from the road down a long private drive in the woods. We do have neighbors but no one is that close. So if you want the feeling of getting away to the middle of practically nowhere, but be able to get to all the local hangs of Downtown, Arts District, Reynolda Village and Gardens, Wake Forest University which is a mile away and major grocery stores like Lowe’s Foods and Harris teeter around the corner also including Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, in 10 min or less then you will enjoy staying here! Beautiful views of oak trees and pines, and a great place to watch deer and sometimes see a few ground hogs foraging around. The cardinals and yellow finches are breathtaking and you are bound to have memorable mornings here sipping coffee or tea on one of our 3 beautiful stone porches! The cabin has a special personality and loves to be admired and appreciated! We hope you leave your stay here feeling refreshed and treated well. You will notice a mowed line that boarders the property in front of the cabin and will signify the property line when you look closely. Other things to note If you are unable to manage multi level housing, this may not be the place for you. It has 4 levels on one side of the house where the bedrooms sit and small cluster of steps through out the house
