Blowing Rock Bungalow is a bright, clean, comfortable, cozy, enchanting, and relaxing home Located 1 mile from downtown Blowing Rock. Boone, Blue Ridge Pkwy, nature trails, horse riding, Tanger Outlet, Price Lake, Tweetsie RR, gem mining, Moses Cone Manor House tours, excellent restaurants and ice cream shops, Blowing Rock, Zip Line, and other sites are all within 15 minutes. The space Our goal is to provide a place that allows families and friends to make special memories that last forever! Equipped with high speed internet, Roku, board and card games, puzzles, videos, books, and TVs in both bedrooms and family room, there’s something to do for everyone! We also have three outdoor cameras-one on front porch and two on the backyard for your security. The front walkway is lit from dusk to dawn and there are floodlights around the house as well. There are brochures from local restaurants, hiking paths, and activities nearby. Family games, puzzles, and videos are in the family room coffee table. The bookshelf in the front room is filled with an interesting collection of books written by writers who have stayed here in the past. Please leave all books on the shelves after reading them so other guests can enjoy them too. There is a 55 inch smart TV in the family room and both bedrooms have TVs with ROKU. Relax outside on the front porch, upper and lower back decks, or on Adirondack chairs situated around the gas Firepit on the stone patio in the back yard. A spiral staircase inside and wide wooden staircase outside connect upper and lower levels. Plus, a garden and stone pathway wind around the side of the house to the patio. Upper level with master bedroom, bath, front room and family room is easily accessible from the circular driveway -without steps. Extra parking is on the left side of the house and the circular driveway easily accommodates up to 6 cars. Updated floors, bathrooms, and decor make this bungalow warm, cozy, and a delightful place to make memories! Please note: the third bed is a full sized futon and is located in the front room, which does not have a door to close it off from the rest of the house. The two bedrooms have a queen in each room and a bathroom accessible through a hallway. One bedroom is located on the main level with a shower and the second bedroom is located on the lower level, with a shower. Clean towels and wash cloths are located in each bathroom, along with shampoo, soap, and conditioner. Washer/dryer set in the lower level with detergent provided. Dishes need to be washed by hand, as we do not have a dishwasher. Guest access On the main floor: master bedroom with queen bed, closet, dresser, two night stands, three lamps and TV. Bathroom with bathtub/shower across from master. Family room with two leather sofas and large leather chair, TV. Kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, oven, microwave, refrigerator, glass table that seats 6 and deck with round table and 4 chairs. Front room with bookshelves, futon, chair. Spiral staircase leads to lower level with stone walled guest bedroom, guest bathroom, washer/dryer in laundry room, and private entrance and deck. Outside: hammock, large backyard with azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and day lilies. Sleds, hammock, and a charcoal grill are in the locked basement- please ask if you’d like to use them. Other things to note There is a $25 per person per night fee for more than 4 guests, due to extra laundry. There are 2 bedrooms, with one queen bed in each room. The futon, which has a full-sized mattress, is in the front room, which is open to the family room.
