If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax and create unforgettable memories with family or friends you have found the perfect get-away vacation home. A gorgeous house nestled in the middle of the wasatch national forest that lets you hear the sounds of nature rather than the bustle of the city with unbeatable views of tall pine trees and the surrounding mountains. Big cottonwood canyon is a special place that will touch your heart, especially in our famous winters. The space This 3 bedroom + loft home features a large equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating for 4 & dining room table that seats 8. It is one of the larger properties available in Big Cottonwood Canyon. A cozy living room off the kitchen features a gas fireplace & scenic views from every window. 2 patio doors open onto a huge deck with a barbecue for outdoor grilling that looks into the wasatch national forest - also perfect for star gazing the nights sky. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a queen size bed with an attached beautifully tiled bathroom. The other bedrooms are located on the top floor with a queen bed in the second bedroom & a twin over full bunk bed in the 3rd. The loft has a twin bed with trundle - full bath that was remodeled also on this floor. New flooring and lighting as well as a new TV system have been upgraded recently. There is also a foosball table and loads of games. Please note: the outdoor hottub is NOT working. It had a good run but seems to have given up the ghost. :( With over 500' inches of snow fall each year you are minutes away from a world class skiing experience. One mile from solitude ski resort & three miles to brighton ski resort with a short 30 minute drive to snowbird & alta. Downtown salt lake city, the salt lake international airport & park city are only a 45 minute drive. In the winter, it's a Winter Wonderland. In the summer and fall, it's an amazing (and temperate!) place to hike, bike, lounge and even high-altitude training for the endurance athletes out there. If you stay once, it will be a regular gem on your vacation circuit. The house has two wonderful caretakers (Deanna and Mark) on site to remove all snow, clear driveway and be of assistance. **Due to new, variable, and likely, capricious local regulations, the home is currently available for only 30 night or greater bookings. This is subject to change and hopefully will change in the future.** Guest access You can access everything except 1) the mother-in-law apartment, where the caretakers live full time 2) one small closet and cabinet where I keep my personal belongings when I have guests and 3) the attic.
