“Farmhouse Bungalow”: Tranquil Countryside Getaway

Welcome to the "Farmhouse Bungalow": Nestled on 9 acres of lush landscape, in the Sierra Foothills. The Bungalow's Tranquil Countryside Getaway offers guests everything needed for a great experience! Our proximity to: Lake Tahoe, Folsom Lake, Sacramento & San Francisco offers relaxation, celebration, exploration & fun. Enjoy: Wine tasting, biking, skiing, hiking, boating and celebrating with family. Our serene setting offers a prime location for creating heartfelt memories for years to come. The space What makes our space unique is our great Country Location. We are tucked away on 9 private acres and surrounded by trees, rolling hills, lush landscape and rock outcroppings allowing for plenty of rest, relaxation and recreation. We are on the wine and bike trails just 7 minutes south of I-80 at the base of the Sierra Foothills yet only 15-30 minutes away from the Galleria Mall, Old Town Auburn, Old Folsom and Sacramento. If you're looking for a day on the slopes or a visit to Lake Tahoe; nearby ski resorts and beaches are only an hour and a half to two hours away! You will love staying in our serene country setting and taking morning walks with coffee in hand, while viewing wildlife! Guest access The “Farmhouse Bungalow” is a private, upstairs, 950 square foot suite that’s all your own. Guests enjoy a small private deck, great for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. There is a also a sitting area below the Bungalow and a nearby Gazebo aligning our road that’s intended mainly for Bungalow Guests. Some of the areas shown in pictures includes common Entertainment Areas that can be utilized by both our "Farmhouse Bungalow" and our "Loomis Log Cabin" listings. One such area includes: A {Gazebo Eating Area) with a Table & 4 chairs, a (Barbecue Counter) that houses two Weber Charcoal Barbecues and a small Refrigerator, a (Fire Pit Area) surrounded by 6 chairs, and a (Hammock Lounge Area) perfect for kicking back. The above common area is closest to our "Loomis Log Cabin" listing however it can be enjoyed by those staying in both listings. Note: Communicate to us if you would like to reserve the space exclusively for your use. Also, as mentioned above, there are other common areas that are specific to each of our two listings due to their location. Many friendships have been forged by those not shy of gathering together yet with many niches and lush landscape on the property, there is plenty of opportunity for privacy and alone time as well. Guests are welcome to roam our 9+ acres. Feel free to ask for boundary markers before taking walks or going on excursions. 😊 Safety Precautions: 1. Several of our neighbors have FARM ANIMALS including: Cows, Pigs, Chickens, Roosters, and Horses. Feel free to view however, please keep a 5 ft. distance from such animals in order to be respectful of our neighbors. PLEASE don’t pet or feed the animals. 2. Our Family has built many STRUCTURES to add to the aesthetics of our property. For your safety: Please DO NOT CLIMB on structures including: Trees, railings, fences, farm equipment, water features, tractors, or water troughs. 3. Gigantic ROCK OUTCROPPINGS are covered in natural moss which can be slippery. Please DO NOT CLIMB on these as this could cause injury. Enjoy looking at the rich green moss as it's taken up to a hundred years to grow. They are for your eyes only :-) Thank you for allowing us to share our serene property with you. Drive 5 miles per hour when driving up Surette Lane. Briquettes and lighter fluid are often provided for the BBQ however, you may want to check the supply in case previous Guests enjoyed barbecuing several times during their stay and used them up. Raley’s is only 5 minutes away in Loomis just in case 😊 Our Bungalow listing is accessible via the outside stairway shown in the pictures. We have upgraded our WIFI yet we want to let you know that being surrounded by beautiful trees can sometimes leave your cellular data a tad sluggish. We are still thankful for country living! 😊 Family members are severely allergic to pets so even service dogs will not be accepted. We have spoken to Air BnB Case Managers about this so they are fully aware and likewise, we are educated on the: “American Disability Act” and it’s laws as well. Our biggest concern is our Guests and Family members health. Thank You for understanding. There will be an extra charge for Events: Included but not limited to: 1) Weddings, Baby Showers, Business Gatherings, Birthday Parties, Photography Shoots & Workshops. Please inquire with us prior to booking Note: In order to host an event both of our listings: The "Farmhouse Bungalow" & "Loomis Log Cabin" need to be rented (booked) by the same Guest. Note: We ask all of our Guests who book with us to post a photo of their ID on the App at time of booking. Note: For your privacy and safety; We will not see the ID until after booking takes place.
