Lovely, historic home in a beautiful rural setting. 6 miles to downtown Saratoga Springs. 15 minutes to Skidmore College 20 minutes to Saratoga Racecourse. The house, built in the 1830s & 1920s, has both the charm and quirks of an old home. The house is great for large groups. There is a large screened in porch with lovely views of the property. The house stays cool in the summer so we have never needed central AC. We do have three window AC units and window fans. The space 5 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bath • 2 bedrooms (queen size beds) with attached bathrooms • 3 bedrooms (2 double beds & 1 queen) with shared bathroom - One of these bedrooms has a foldout futon in the room. • 1 downstairs half bathroom Other things to note The house is lived in, it is a home, and as such has our items there. We clean out closet & fridge space for your stay. There is a cat that lives at the house. When we have renters, we take him off premise. Although we leave the house clean, this home may not be suitable for someone with severe cat allergies. The house is designed to stay cool in the summer so we have never felt the need for central AC. For those hot August nights we do have a few window AC units and window fans. We do not have updated electronics. Please bring your own.
