Sunny Jumbo Studio

Bright and sunny Oak Park jumbo garden studio, steps from cute downtown, train to Chicago, and amazing local tourist destinations- like the Hemingway Home and the Wright Studio. This welcoming studio was completely rehabbed and updated. We put a lot of care into designing a relaxing apartment with all the amenities. The main room features a king-sized bed, office nook, and fully stocked entertainment area, with games, books, and a TV. The spacious kitchen and luxurious bathroom are brand new! The space Staying for work? We have black out curtains, a memory foam mattress, and high quality linens so you'll get a great night's sleep. WiFi and an office nook make it very workable. The main room also includes a day bed which is easily converted to a comfortable twin for extra sleeping space. Closets for clothes are abundant. The kitchen is large and sunlit, and we've stocked it with most of the pots, pans, and utensils you'll need. The bathroom is completely new and updated, and features a gorgeous walk-in shower. Our house sits on a beautiful block, between old Victorian homes. You can walk to amazing coffee shops, cute stores, and some of the best restaurants and breweries in the area. The major tourist highlights of Oak Park, like the Hemingway Home, the FL Wright Studio, and Unity Temple are all a few minutes away by foot. Guest access You'll have access to your full apartment, which has two locked doors. Other things to note This is a basement unit, you may hear some light footsteps from your neighbors upstairs! Street parking is available, but it is illegal to park overnight on the main street and you do need an easy, free pass to park elsewhere. We will provide details on obtaining the pass when you book. We do plan on installing video cameras at the entrances by mid-December. You may be filmed entering and exiting- but honestly it's mostly just so we can track deliveries!
