Perfect location for seeing all of adorable Lake Geneva! Most of our guests don't need a car at all during their stay! Our renovated private downstairs unit is perfect for those wanting to be tucked away within a quiet residential neighborhood but within walking distance to all Lake Geneva has to offer! The lake path is only 3 blocks away for hike around the lake path! Downtown shopping, the beach & amazing restaurants all within walking distance, you won't need a car! It's time to book a stay!! The space The home was built in 1860 but was completely renovated this past year to be perfect for you! The home is a duplex, this listing is for the bottom floor. Within this unit, there are 2 private bedrooms with queen beds and an additional bedroom that has a single sleeper, with access to the full bathroom. PLEASE read carefully: The 2 guest rooms have access to a jack-&-jill bathroom with sole access from these two rooms, meaning those staying in the master would need to sneak through one of these spaces. The small room with a day bed has a curtain instead of a door, to allow for easy access to the bathroom. Works great for families with kiddos. Some guests use this small room as a "dressing room"/storage vs a sleeping room, to have more private access to the one single bathroom from the main space. We are very transparent about this and need our guests to know this before booking so they are not surprised. We do send a virtual tour via our website after booking to see this layout. Gotta love the quirkyness of such an old home! The couch also has an upgraded queen-size memory foam pull out bed. We also have two air mattresses, 1 queen and 1 twin. There is 1 completely updated and renovated bathroom. Chic, clean, and cozy design with all of the amenities, including internet, a record player, and a smart TV to stream all your favorite shows. We have laundry, a grill, fire pit, outdoor seating & a large yard that is perfect for yard games. There is a vegetable and herb garden, please feel free to use it!! This home is perfect for families who travel with other families, as we have an upstairs unit above also available (2 queen beds in private bedroom and 1 bath- sleeps 4 more)! This unit has its own private entrance.. Email us for a custom price/link to rent the entire space. Would be perfect to travel with multiple couples, to stay for a wedding weekend/week or when travelling with grandparents, to allow them their private space but to still be all together! Reach out with any questions! We also have a kitchen garden for you out back to enjoy. Fresh greens, herbs and some veggies are available to grab to add to your meal/drink! Covid 19 Update: Cleanliness has always been our highest priority. We are now taking additional disinfecting procedures on all common surfaces, light fixtures, door handles, remotes, faucets, etc. We want to make sure your stay is safe and FUN! You can head downtown to rent bicycles or begin walking around the lake to gaze at the gorgeous lake homes (26 miles all the way around!). If you want to see what's around Williams Bay, Fontana or Delavan, you are only a 10-15 minute drive away. Walk to grab a coffee or breakfast at Simple Cafe, grab brick oven pizza at Oakfire and stop at Hogs & Kisses or Champs for a drink! We will have more recommendations in the unit for you but feel free to ask us for more. We are foodies and when we travel we love to experience all the town has to offer, the local way! Williams Bay, Delavan and Fontana also have a lot to offer, only a short drive away! Head to Williams Bay for lunch at the Green Grocer (excellent smoothies wonderful sandwiches) and then across the street for the best ice cream at the Frosty Moose!
