Ivy Cottage is conveniently located very close to the city with direct west facing lake access to Lake Simcoe. Quiet friendly neighbourhood. Views are spectacular and the privacy is calming and restful. There are three buildings on the property including a bunkie and a boathouse. Great for summer activities as well as winter (great ice fishing). Close to the communities of Sutton and Pefferlaw. Fully furnished and available for longer term rentals. You will find peace and serenity here. The space Everyone loves Ivy Cottage - the waterfront is beautiful and the sunshine lifts your spirits. The quiet soothes your soul. It is just north of the community of Sutton where you will find Sobey's, Giant Tiger, Shoppers, No Frills and some great food. There are also local spas and resorts like the Briars. Great golfing and there is fishing directly in front of the cottage. There is a canoe with paddles and lifejackets included. The cottage has three bedrooms in the main home and 2 bedrooms with a sitting room in the bunkie. The water source is well water so we recommend boiling the water. There is a water softener and tankless water heating system and apt sized washer and dryer as well as dishwasher. Guest access All of Main cottage, the bunkie, and the bottom part of boathouse. There is a large circular driveway that could fit 5 or 6 cars. The main cottage has a sunroom with lovely views of the lake and there is a fire pit with chairs and hammocks and swings for lounging. Other things to note We have lived in the area for almost 27 years. It is a beautiful area and you will enjoy your time there. The washer and dryer are apartment sized so it is difficult to do all the laundry in a short time. We recommend you bring your own sheets and towels but if that is difficult for you we can provide that service for you for an additional fee which varies with the number of people and beds being used.
