Creekside Greek Revival Cottage

Newly restored 1840s Greek Revival cottage with new kitchen, two new bathrooms with showers (no tub) and new mechanical systems, two bedrooms, parking and vegetable and flower gardens with creek and horse pasture views. The house is furnished with 19th century antiques and decorative arts. Easily accessible to farmstands, antiquing, historic sites, restaurants and a nearby state park with an Olympic-size pool. The host lives next door, so help is available when needed, but privacy is allowed. The space Please note that it is an old house with antique furnishings and some items are old and fragile with scratches and patina developed over time. If this is a concern, it may not be a good fit for you, but others will see this as part of the appeal. Please no children under 12. There is a smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Criterion Channel access, board games, books to read, an iron and ironing board, washer/dryer and a full kitchen. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and garden and are free to pick vegetables from the garden. Other things to note Verizon is the only cellphone carrier with service in the valley. Guests will need to travel up the road to Middleburgh to get service on other carriers.
