The space This is a modern 2 story, 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath Nonsmoking Bayview Casita in a community that is on the Laguna Madre Bay. It is in the charming Las Joyas gated community. 5 can sleep comfortably - Amazing views from most front and side facing windows - the bay and community center are just across the street. The well-appointed open concept home features a full-size kitchen with appliances (Refrigerator, Range, Microwave & dishwasher), and all necessary kitchen essentials to include a coffee pot, toaster, blender, salad spinner, dishes, fresh linens, new furnishings and much more. Beautiful tile floors throughout downstairs. Granite counter tops throughout. The downstairs also features a half bath, spacious living room with a couch, Dining room, Samsung 50” 4K LED SMART TV, and comfy, coastal furnishings. Upstairs, a spacious master suite welcomes you with stunning views of the Bay, sliding glass doors give way to your private on-suite balcony with two patio chairs awaiting. A comfy King sized bed, 32” Smart TV with Roku; and spacious on-suite bath are all available for your enjoyment! Have I mentioned the VIEWS? Guest bedroom #2 features a full-size memory foam bed, plus a twin trundle and another on suite-bath. Home can only comfortably accommodate 5 people. There is a stackable washer and dryer provided for your convenience on the second floor at the top of the stairs and a Nest Thermostat. All necessary linens, a blue tooth portable speaker, WiFi internet and Sling internet based cable are also available for your enjoyment; as well as tv apps such as Hulu, Netflix, Pandora and more, that you’re welcome to log into and use. Back yard built in propane grill. (*** please note, we work hard to keep the grill in good working order, staying ahead of maintenance issues, but to the harsh coastal weather conditions, there may be times it could be out of service due to parts needing replaced. We thank you for your understanding***) The Las Joyas community offers wonderful family-friendly amenities available for your use while you stay with us. These include sparkling shared community pool steps from the front door, hot tub, and well equipped lounging area. Basketball hoop, children's play-scape, and picnic benches overlooking the bay are also available for your enjoyment. Palapa stretching into the bay for bird or dolphin watching, launching your own kayak, canoe, or paddleboard or night time stargazing! The bay is a popular spot for fishing. Two parking spaces are provided in the driveway of the home, otherwise there is overflow parking at the east side of the community and directly across from the home in front of the pool area. The Las Joyas Community is just 4 miles from South Padre Island and the entertainment district! Walk to HEB Grocery store. PLEASE NOTE: the weather can be unpredictable at the coast. High winds, rain and pop up thunderstorms are likely. We cannot be held responsible for inclement weather. Additionally, high winds can whip around the home and can be NOISY, we recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper or think this might cause issues with your sleep habits. Furthermore, please note, this property and community does NOT allow "spring breakers," "parties" or "partying". There is no smoking at this home - not even outside within 150 ft of the property. You have to go to the common areas, should you require smoking. Furthermore, "Quiet time" begins at 10 pm every night- weekends included. During the months of March and April there is a minimum age requirement for all guests (unless you’re a young family with children) to be 28yrs or older. Other things to note - Please note all bedrooms are upstairs - approximately 15 steps in total. - Very important to note community amenities are for paying, registered guests only no outside guests allowed - per HOA rules. Parking is limited , only two vehicles allowed per home. -we ask you ensure all windows are properly closed when you are not at the home as well as upon departure - to prevent unexpected rain from blowing into the home  - Absolutely no pets allowed fines will apply $500 for pet deposit and extra cleaning fees . - Any evidence of smoking will result in a $250 sanitizing fee
